Partly sunny with the threat of storms this afternoon and temps to 90 and Heat Index to 100. Watched 'MY SISTER'S BONES' (Hoopla). I didn't realize the extreme irony of the film's title until I was part way into the film. It's a complex tale of a dysfunctional family. A female war correspondent in her forties becomes attached to an orphan boy in war torn Iraq. The kid is imaginary and was brought on by trauma caused when as an eight year old she let her little brother drown at the beach. A lot of family drama is uncovered, and, much later, we learn that her brother in law was keeping his step daughter and child in an underground bunker on the property.
