The windows have been open for a couple of days, and I might have to close them if the humidity gets too high. {830pm- still open}. Watched 'THE TRUTH AND TRAGEDY OF MORIAH WILSON' (Netflix). In May of 2020 a two year old girl was kidnapped from a tiny village in Thailand and the media & the internet ('Netizens') became obsessed with the case. The uncle and the parents had different news channels following their every move. Although this was technically a 'news story', it soon became popular entertainment. The uncle took the fall on the flimsiest evidence I'd ever heard. Strands of the little girl's hair were found in his vehicle, but it was not unusual for the girl to ride in his truck. Watched 'RELAY' (Hoopla).  850am: Call from nurse at Martinek's office..."no significant findings on the x-ray". Gastroenterologist office will call to schedule a colonoscopy. Dr. Martinek recommends a stronger laxative. I'll pick that up when I get the call that the suppository is in.   Watched 'RELAY' (Hoopla). I had seen this film fairly recently, but I didn't recognize the title. The Telecommunications Relay Service (TRS) is a genuine public communications system in the US for people with hearing or speaking difficulties.  We 8/19/26 8am (GB: 5/ Green Crack). 230pm (5-B: 5/ Red Congolese). 550pm (GB: 5/ Green Crack). 820pm (GB: 6/ Red Congolese).  Up 715am: {restless night}. Cloudy with temps only to about 80. Watched 'A CHILD OF MY OWN' (Netflix). Crazy story, but very believable. I shut it down with 44 minutes remaining and I'll finish the documentary tonight. 935am: Preparing to call Joe (and remind him that I noticed that he shaved his head) and head back to Pleasant Plains.  945am- 1010am to Pleasant Plains left 115pm. Just Joe & I and spent the whole time at her bedside. She's well enough to say 'hi' and then she's back to sleep. Jamie let me in the locked back door and he went back to sleep. Melissa was at work. Joe said the nurse should be here in the morning, but she never showed. $7.00 suppository at Walgreens. Tu 8/18/26- Dr. Martinek: 440pm 755am (GB: 6/ Red Congolese). 1125am (LB: 6/ Red Congolese). 625pm (GB: 5/ Red Congolese). 825pm (GB: a mix of Green & Red).  Up 615am and out of bed at 7am. Mostly sunny with temps to low 80's and not as humid.  An old gray sedan is connected to the guy that's working on the house next door. Somebody dropped him off just after 7am.  Picked up sticks and branches on the lawn. Watched 'DON'T SAY GOOD LUCK' (Netflix). {An Adam Sandler production}. A suburban family grapples with Mom's terminal cancer and recognition for their daughter when she scores the lead role in her high school play, 'Waitress'. Not as bad as it sounds, but just a little too sweet; with Sunny Sandler (Adam Sandler's daughter), Melanie Lynskey, Steve Buscemi. "73" Metascore and that's where I'd leave it.  Mo 8/17/26- Diamond CBD arrives 720am (GB: 5/ a mix of Red & Green). 220pm (GB: 5/ Green Crack). 355pm (GB: 5/ Green Crack). 530pm (GB: 5/ Red Congolese). 820pm (GB: 5/ Green Crack).  6am: The blue pill & 'gentle' provided relief & up by 640am. Mostly sunny and less humid with temps only to about 80. Watched 'WINONA' (Amazon Prime). Four young women in their late teens enjoy a day at the beach. However, late in the film the girls reveal that the encounter is more of a funeral (celebration of life?) for one of their friends' death.  The couple in the Range Rover were the parents of the deceased girl, Winona and in the final scene workers are assembling a Tiki bar on the beach signifying that life moves on. Shot entirely on Zorkos Beach, located on the northern side of Andros Island, Greece.   920am: The PC is 'Off' and preparing to call Joe and head back to Plains. 930am & arrived 10am & left 115pm. Weekly Cleaning Watched 'MOTEL DESTINO' (Kanopy). An odd Brazilian Film Noir/ Art Film about a criminal who hides out at a 'hot sheet' motel and falls in lust with the owner's wife. Odd Scenes: moaning & shrieking in the motel corridors; the lovers digging their graves at gunpoint and stark naked; the owner hits a horse in his jeep and is killed; the guy ends up working in a Brazilian ice factory shoveling cubes and says he will meet his love maybe in another lifetime. Up 7am: Random storms all morning, then cloudy & sweltering with temps almost to 90.  I did a restart just after I opened the internet, and then twenty minutes after I started working I got a 'restart' prompt.   I filled out most of the 'pre-visit' forms for the doctor appointment on Tuesday, and the rest I will do in person.  Watched 'THE BEACH HOUSE MURDERS' (Netflix). A female writer is harassed by the men in her life. She splits to a Malibu beach house and three men end up dead. The story was so ridiculous that a seven year old wouldn't buy into it. I gave it 'one thumb down'.
