That is no longer the issue and the magic bullet was either the pills or the double shot of MiraLAX daily. Can I postpone the colonoscopy? Watched 'THE PRESIDENT'S CAKE' (Netflix). At school a nine year old girl is chosen to make a cake for Saddam Hussein's 50th birthday, but she doesn't have the money to buy any of the ingredients.  She takes a classmate (and her pet rooster) to town to see if they can somehow get it done.  Su 9/20/26 1025am (GB: 5/ Green Crack). 125pm (GB: 5/ Red Congolese). 535pm (GB: 5/ Green Crack). 830pn (GB: 5/ Red Congolese).  Up 710am: Overcast and threat of showers this morning with temps to about 80.  Weekly Cleaning & then I read 'DO WITH ME WHAT YOU WILL' I received an invitation to a 'coffee visit' from the couple that lives in the house next to the two girls. The guy drives a white pickup and leaves for work very early. 940am: I walked over and there were too many people and I just walked back home.  Watched 'HEEL' (Kanopy). A young hooligan is snatched off the streets of London and whisked away to a manor house in a very remote area of the country. The family that kidnapped the thug only wanted to change his antisocial attitudes and mold him into a model citizen worthy of their love. The movie ends with the reformed thug returning to the site of his imprisonment. He is so taken with 'the program' that he brings an unconscious lady friend...

Temperatures will drop almost thirty degrees on Monday.  I cleared out the dying pansies from the porch planter, but the ones under the bedroom windows are still going.  ***The AI Mode tab is gone from the homepage. I learned that if you hover over the far right of the search bar and click, the search will be through AI Mode. Nobody mentioned this online.   Watched 'WINDOWS ON THE WORLD' (Hoopla). Dad worked at the Twin Towers on 9/11 and his son travels from Mexico to NYC to find out if he survived. When I opened the living room PC I got the same prompt to 'restart'. I can't believe I took the risk, but no problems and I will call the computer guys {Tech2Door} as soon as they open and  schedule a visit.  Finished 'JUST ONE LOOK' (Netflix). The title refers to the name of a song. The sister of a band member orchestrated the murders and kidnappings so that she could get the royalties from the band's hit, 'Just One Look'. Watched 'SAINT OMER' (Kanopy). It's a look at 'Infanticide', displaced persons, and motherhood within the parameter of a courtroom drama. Very much an Art Film and the acting is mesmerizing, but it's more than a little confusing. The tall, strikingly elegant female character who is also pregnant and experiencing the revelations of the trial seems tacked on to the primary storyline. The defendant lived in southeastern Paris near Bois de Vincennes; a big park (hiking, biking, botanical garden) just off the beltway. Watched 'A CRIME STORY' (Hoopla). Employees at a budget motel on the outskirts of Las Vegas become drug dealers and get targeted by Italian, Russian, local mobsters, and the law. Every cliche in the books and no better than a very well done student film. The motel where most of the action takes place is at the 'historic' EL RANCHO BOULDER MOTEL that's in Boulder City, Nevada. That's about 25 miles southeast of Las Vegas.   Finished 'AVERAGE JOE' (Netflix). An unsatisfying ending, but it leaves the door wide open for a second season. THE MOVIE' (Netflix). A fairly humorous look at the business of making a French movie. Everything from actors' temper tantrums, to creative methods of financing and even the weather conspire to wreck the project; an interesting scene where the shoot is flooded when a nearby dam breaks. Another excellent reason that national comedy films don't resonate with international audiences. "77" Metascore and I learned that it's a reworking of a French television series.
