Mo 8/10/26- Diamond CBD Order

Mo 8/10/26- Diamond CBD Order 705am (GB: 6/ Durban Poison). 750am (5-B: Red Congolese). 1020am (6-B: NEW STRAIN- Green Crack). 1230pm (GB: 6/ Green Crack). 535pm (GB: 6/ Red Congolese). 755pm (GB: 6/ Red Congolese).  Up 615am: A threat of morning showers, then hot & very humid with temps to almost 90. 945am: The blue pill plus the 'gentle' laxative did the trick, but I was very constipated. If I don't get a call from Dr. Martinek's office in the next couple of hours I will call back. Within five minutes I got a call from the nurse practitioner. I should begin taking MIRALAX   (Polyethylene Glycol) twice a day. This will take the place of the laxatives that I've been taking. I should drink plenty of liquids and they will give me a follow-up call on Friday.   Watched 'BUGONIA' (Netflix). A couple of determined dunces kidnap a female CEO because they think that she is conducting a top secret & lethal experiment on humans with the help of 'The Emper...

Su 8/9/26

Su 8/9/26 820am (GB: 5/ Durban Poison). 320pm (GB: 5/ Red Congolese).  535pm (GB: 6/ Durban Poison). 830pm (GB: 6/ Red Congolese).  Up 635am: Hot & humid with temps to upper 80's and a 'Heat Advisory' is in effect. Weekly Cleaning & I tried to add 'uBlock Origin' to the upstairs PC, but it said I already have it. I rejected all ads at Accuweather and it makes the site watchable. This feature is not available at The Weather Channel. I had planned to try a visit to Pleasant Plains in the morning, but constipated so I think I'll hit it later. Watched 'CHIEF OF STATION' (Netflix). A former CIA Station Chief's wife is killed in an 'accidental' explosion and then accused of being a double agent. Hubby goes rogue to find his wife's killers. Very lame and highly forgettable; with Aaron Eckhart (Alec Baldwin was first on their list). I had planned to visit Plains earlier, but constipation is an issue. 1025am- 205pm; home by 230pm call Joe...

Sa 8/8/26- Groceries/ Mowed Lawn

Sa 8/8/26- Groceries/ Mowed Lawn 1020am (6-B: Red Congolese). 1050am (5-B: Red Congolese). 130pm (Red Congolese). 320pm (GB: 5/ Durban Poison). 535pm (GB: 6/ Red Congolese). 830pm (GB: 6/ Red Congolese).  Up 730am: {very constipated and took another 'gentle' laxative ; relief 5am- 520am}. Mostly sunny & humid with temps to upper 80's.  Mowed the lawn: 830am- 940am Watched 'A DIFFERENT MAN' (Kanopy). A thoughtful & darkly hilarious rift on 'The Beauty & the Beast' or even 'The Elephant Man', although it's never mentioned. Makes you question what you think about what it means to be 'different'. How much of a difference does it make if 'the outside' of a person doesn't match 'the inside'. If you are 'different', should you be 'passive' or would it be better to take a more 'aggressive' (in your face) approach. This is the kind of movie that will lead to a lot of discussions about what i...

Fr 8/7/26- A call from Joe

Fr 8/7/26- A call from Joe  730am (GB: 6/ Durban Poison). 755am (4-B: Red Congolese). 125pm (GB: 5/ Red Congolese). 535pm (GB: 6/ Durban Poison). 820pm (GB: 6/ Red Congolese).  Up 630am: Cloudy & humid with temps to mid 80's.  About 7am a gray sedan was in the driveway of the house next door. A gnarly looking short man had apparently (maybe?) been in the house all night. Maybe there is somebody living there during the renovation? I had seen 'Gnarly Guy' working on the house over the last few weeks.  Watched 'IN THE LAND OF SAINTS AND SINNERS' (Netflix). An Irish hitman wants to retire, but 'The Troubles' (Northern Ireland conflict between Protestants and Catholics) keeps calling him back. A band of IRA killers have come to town and mayhem ensues. Pretty standard stuff, but beautiful locations in Donegal, Ireland which is in the far northwestern part of the country; with Liam Neeson, Kerry Condon (an exciting performance as the 'evil bitch'). ...

Th 8/6/26- Indacloud

Th 8/6/26- Indacloud 735am (GB: 5/ Red Congolese). 740am {1/2 'Extreme Chill' 150 mg: 75 mg total}. 950am (4-B: Durban Poison). 1pm (GB: 6/ Red Congolese). 240pm (4-B: Durban Poison). 435pm (GB: 4/ Durban Poison). 540pm (4-B: Red Congolese). 830pm (GB: 6/ Red Congolese).  Up 635am: Light misty rain in the morning, then cloudy skies with temps to upper 70's.  Watched 'INGRID GOES WEST' (Netflix). The movie seduces you into caring about a young woman who is the worst kind of stalker. It's the point of view of a very damaged person who never deviates from her neurotic pursuit of validation from others; with Aubrey Plaza, Elizabeth Olsen, O'Shea Jackson Jr. (son of rapper Ice Cube). I had seen the film before, and it was well worth a second view. "71" Metascore and I would go to "84". THE PLAYLIST- "The movie lives and dies, however, on Ingrid herself and, remarkably, Plaza finds a way for you to root for her even when she crosses line ...

We 8/5/26- Popcorn Popper

We 8/5/26- Popcorn Popper 710am (GB: 6/ Durban Poison). 120pm (GB: 6/Red Congolese). 245pm (GB: 4/ Red Congolese). 430pm (GB: 4/ Durban Poison). 530pm (GB: 6/ Red Congolese). 820pm (GB: 5/ Durban Poison).  Up 615am: Partly sunny with the chance of afternoon showers and temps to mid 80's. 910am- 1047am: Called Janny. The big meeting occurred at 900 North 1st on Tuesday and Jon, Jamie, and Melissa (via phone) were with her. First, a nurse practitioner (9am- 1030am) told them what to expect from immunotherapy and chemo, and then Dr. Garg (at a 1230pm meeting) told them that she was terminal (No Hope).  Jamie, Jon, Joe, and Melissa (via phone) were at the meeting with Dr. Garg and the mood seems to be that hospice care might be the best way to go because she's opting for 'quality' rather than 'quantity'. Tuesday, 8/11 she is scheduled to begin treatment, but she's holding out. They are going to give her case to a doctor in Decatur that worked well with Carol (M...

Tu 8/4/26

Tu 8/4/26 735am (GB: 6/ Durban Poison). 810am (5-B: Red Congolese). 1005am (6-B: Red Congolese). 1220pm (GB: 5/ Durban Poison). 2pm (GB: 4/ Red Congolese). 430pm (GB: 6/ Red Congolese). 530pm (GB: 6/ Durban Poison). 830pm (GB: 6/ Red Congolese).  ***I restarted both PC's today and will try to make this a Tuesday habit.  Up 645am: Partly sunny with temps to mid 80's. Windows opened for a while and closed at noon.  Watched 'A PRIVATE LIFE' (Netflix). A female Parisian psychiatrist becomes involved in a convoluted 'whodunnit' mystery after one of her patients commits suicide. All kinds of theories could be true, but the ending seems to suggest that "we're all just muddling in the dark". It's an Art Film that strives (strains?) to be visually and intellectually challenging, but the payoff is not quite worth the effort; with Jodie Foster, Daniel Auteuil, Mathieu Amalric and more top-tier French acting talent. "67" Metascore and I would go...
