The big meeting occurred at 900 North 1st on Tuesday and Jon, Jamie, and Melissa (via phone) were with her. First, a nurse practitioner (9am- 1030am) told them what to expect from immunotherapy and chemo, and then Dr. Garg (at a 1230pm meeting) told them that she was terminal (No Hope).  Jamie, Jon, Joe, and Melissa (via phone) were at the meeting with Dr. Garg and the mood seems to be that hospice care might be the best way to go because she's opting for 'quality' rather than 'quantity'. Windows opened for a while and closed at noon.  Watched 'A PRIVATE LIFE' (Netflix). A female Parisian psychiatrist becomes involved in a convoluted 'whodunnit' mystery after one of her patients commits suicide. All kinds of theories could be true, but the ending seems to suggest that "we're all just muddling in the dark". It's an Art Film that strives (strains?) to be visually and intellectually challenging, but the payoff is not quite worth the effort; with Jodie Foster, Daniel Auteuil, Mathieu Amalric and more top-tier French acting talent.  Mo 8/3/26- Esporta Closes 730am (GB:5/ Durban Poison). 1005am (4-B: Red Congolese).  1150am (GB: 5/ Durban Poison). 530pm (4-B: Durban Poison). 820pm (GB: 5/ Red Congolese).  Up 545am and back to bed until 630am: Partly sunny with temps to low 80's. Watched 'BABY, DON'T CRY' (Amazon Prime). It's an Art Film that only rises to the level of a very well done student film and it's about a high school Chinese immigrant (she's odd & arty) who falls in love (lust?) with a local miscreant. No new ground is broken and the ending was a complete let down.  Monte Cristo Elementary School was in one of the shots and this is in Granite Falls, WA which is about 45 miles north of Seattle, WA; other locations are Everett and Marysville, WA.  930am- 950am: Call Janny at Jamie's...Tomorrow is the session with the oncologist and they decide 'what to do from here'. Weekly Cleaning Watched 'Searching' (Netflix). A southern California teen is missing and her father begins an investigation using her phone and laptop to find out what happened to her. Most of the film is screen shots of his online search and it's surprisingly effective, although the ending was more than a little generic. "71" Metascore and I would go to "82".  More 'THE BOROUGHS' (Netflix). I shut it down 24 minutes into episode #4. A peek into the lives of a few quirky denizens of contemporary lower Manhattan. The city of NY is an essential character in the film and the dialogue is very low key and occasionally hilarious; with Abbi Jacobson, Michael Cera, Tavi Gevinson, Philip Baker Hall, Isiah Whitlock Jr. Storylines: a guy is buying a rare Charlie Parker album; a young woman's first day as a reporter; two young women talk dicks & vaginas; Locations: a watch repair shop and a used record store; and a murder/suicide. The AC is sometimes running and there is a light in the basement late at night. I can hear sawing and tool noise during the day. I don't recognize either of the two guys that seem to be working.
