An Australian woman in a troubled marriage goes on a solo road trip to the beach. In the small town she sees her husband with a much younger man. She thinks it's his gay lover, but it's actually his son, although she doesn't find out until after she's had sex with the young man. And, much later, she learns that she's pregnant. The film's disturbing message is the fact that there are people living in contemporary times that believe and think like people from the Bronze Age.
