Something very specific to South Koreans doesn't carry over too well, although this one was close. Reading about the real incident I learned that much of the movie was true. Authorities really did land the plane in South Korea and convinced the hijackers that they were in North Korea. An Australian woman in a troubled marriage goes on a solo road trip to the beach. In the small town she sees her husband with a much younger man. She thinks it's his gay lover, but it's actually his son, although she doesn't find out until after she's had sex with the young man. And, much later, she learns that she's pregnant.
