 We 4/8/26 715am (GB: 6/ Hybrid Popcorn). 955am (4-B: Green Apple Gas). 1155am (GB: 5/ Hybrid Popcorn). 545pm [3 blasts new portable vape...still not sure how to use, however very potent when it works]. 610pm {a single blast new vape/ very strong).  Up 620am: A mix of sun & clouds, breezy with temps to low 70's. My phone was down to 14% capacity and I put it on charge all night. I did use it for almost the entire day on Tuesday.   Watched 'SON OF A GUN' (Netflix). A slightly different wrinkle on the 'Crime/ Prison/ Heist' genre film. A smart kid lands in prison with an archcriminal and they team up to steal six bars of gold worth millions. Lots of sneering and posturing, but mostly it's compelling. Philosophical Premise: Humans evolved from 2 species: Bonobo & Chimpanzee- Chimps are fighters & Bonobos are lovers; Ewan McGregor, Brenton Thwaites, Alicia Vikander (married to Michael Fassbender). Possible snow showers & freezing rain this morning {no precipitation}, then breezy & cloudy with temps to about 50. Watched 'ANATOMY OF A FALL' (Netflix).  No, change of plans. More "SOMETHING BAD IS GOING TO HAPPEN' (Netflix). I shut it down 35 minutes into episode #4. It's about a curse on the family's bloodline. If you don't marry by sundown on your wedding day, you die, and if you don't marry your 'soulmate', you also die. Who decides if you've picked the correct 'soulmate'? Watched 'MARDAANI 3' (Netflix). Another tale of a female police officer who is tougher and smarter than any guy on the force. The film pushes this angle so hard that the movie is unintentionally hilarious. Poor girls are being abducted at an alarming rate and it's been largely ignored by authorities and the media. Things change when the Turkish ambassador's daughter goes missing. The film features some of the lamest hand to hand combat ever recorded and it is pure comedy gold. Filmed in Mumbai & Delhi, India. Weekly Cleaning Watched 'BORDER HUNTERS' (Netflix). It's an odd film about America's 'War On Drugs'. The premise is that the US authorities publicly proclaim the horror of Fentanyl, but they really like it. The Fentanyl 'scare' caused a 60% drop in cocaine use and if a few American addicts have to die, well that's just 'Making America Great Again'; with Dean Norris. Watched '10 x 10' (Netflix). Another film where suspension of disbelief is imperative. A man kidnaps a woman in the parking lot of an LA Fitness in suburban Atlanta. For over half of the film it isn't revealed why the man has taken this woman. The answer is so far-fetched that the action might as well have occurred in an alternative universe. The kidnapped woman was a nurse (she's assumed the identity of her dead twin) and was a kind of 'angel of death' and she wants a new start away from the hospital authorities, the police, and the media. This morning's update was completely ordinary and no 'snow squall', but big anxiety.  Watched 'THE GIANT FALLS' (Netflix). A father has terminal cancer and visits his adult son who he has not seen or spoken to in twenty-eight years ago. He wants to 'reconnect' with the son and the boy's mother, who was the love of his life.
