Up 6am: Today WMAY switched from 92.7 FM to 97.7 FM.  It took a while to reset the radios and I can't wait to screw around with the radio in the Elantra. Bright & sunny with temps to mid 80's, but less humidity. Windows are open for the first time in ages.  

730am: two large VACTOR trucks and a couple of other vehicles [one of them with a CWLP logo} arrive at 940. The first time that the windows are open in weeks and 'The City' moves in with flashing lights & noisy equipment to fuck up the serenity. I think it's about the sewer issues that the woman across the street was talking about. At 8am I looked up and noticed that the street was completely empty. Where did they go and what did they want? 

Watched 'THE ANIMAL KINGDOM' (Kanopy- borrowed yesterday). Details of the plot are sparse and the viewer knows much less than the characters. Random humans begin to 'change' into various non-human creatures. A father loses his wife to 'the animal kingdom', and it looks like his 16 year old son will also become 'an animal'. The film was shot entirely in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region of southwestern France. Very strange story and oddly compelling.  

Began 'BILLY BATHGATE' (Amazon Prime). I shut down with 45 minutes left in the film. I'll finish it tonight or tomorrow morning. Based on a novel by E. L. DOCTOROW.

540pm: In the tub with 'BLOWN' by PHILLIP JOSE FARMER and listening to ROBIN TROWER- 'Bridge Of Sighs'; JETHRO TULL Playlist.

Finished RO KHANNA on THEO VON.

More 'CRIMINAL CODE' (Netflix). I shut it down 32 minutes into episode #2. This one is a cut above the usual Police Procedural.
