Watched 'THE NIGHT OF THE 12TH' (Kanopy). While walking home late at night a young woman is doused with gasoline, set on fire and dies a horrible death. She had many questionable male friends yet her killer was never caught. It's similar to the story of a retired cop remembering the single case that he could never forget. At the end credits: "This film is a work of fiction based on real events". From 'LITTLE WHITE LIES'- "It’s a satisfying film, even though it lacks closure. Nothing is unnecessary or over the top – so Moll doesn’t push the boat out". "81" Metascore and I would go to "86". Filmed in the Auvergne-Rhone-Alpes region near Grenoble, France.
