Up 630am; Already above freezing and temps might get to near 50 later, but a severe lack of sun.

Wrote up THE FORGETTING TIME for the blog, and listening to a podcast between Aimee Mann and Kim Gordon. I almost ordered Gordon's book from Amazon, but then downloaded it from the library. Now it's on my phone!

8am; Watching Netflix disc, MAUDIE (Sally Hawkins/ Ethan Hawke). A truly inspiring love story between two of the most unlikely of people. Maud Lewis's art is similar to that of Grandma Moses. The house that Maud and Everett lived in on the island of Nova Scotia was only 12 X 14 with no electricity, running water, or insulation. What did they do with her money?

Watched the rest of the 'Kim Gordon in conversation with Aimee Mann' on Youtube. Then the episode of MAD DOGS that I watched last night.

1230pm- reading GIRL IN A BAND; A MEMOIR; KIM GORDON on the smart phone. I almost hit the button to buy the book on Amazon for eight bucks, but so glad I checked the library. Not only did I save the dough, but I'm reading it NOW!

Dropped the disc at the Wabash PO and on the machines at Planet Fitness; 150pm. 45" Walk. 3.8/0. 45" Recumbent Bike (GIRL IN A BAND). 45" Cross. 30" Bike (read). 30" Cross.
Home to soak and read GIRL IN A BAND (BLACK SHEETS OF RAIN- Bob Mould), then another episode of TRANSPARENT (Amazon Prime).

Then, I watched the Youtube video GETTING TO DYLAN (1986) which was a 52", 'behind the scenes' doc about the making of his movie, HEARTS OF FIRE. This movie went nowhere, and that's why I've never heard of it, but Dylan's no slouch as a person being interviewed- very canny.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Seems to be Ben Kingsley, but he's not the killer, he's an ex-agent who can do 'remote viewing'. We 4/23/25- Gummy 645am {I took 1/4 of a 200 mg of 'DIET SMOKE' gummy: 50 mg total}. 650am (1-LB: Cookie Bread). 910am (1/2-LB: Cookie Bread).  1220pm (1-LB: Panama Punch). 535pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker). 815pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker).  Up 545am: A mix of suny & clouds with temps to about 80. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
