About 730am several 'tree trimming' trucks arrived and parked just down the street. I first thought that they were for the house across the street, but it looks like the action is farther down the road. They disappeared by 10am and I think they were at the house 'with the indoor whirlpool'. 

Watched 'UPGRADE' (Netflix).  A very fine 'Dystopian/ SciFi' genre film about a couple in Melbourne ("in a not too distant future") who are in their 'auto-pilot' car when their computer system goes awry and they get hijacked. The woman is killed and the man is shot in the neck and rendered a quadraplegic. He gets an 'upgrade' and becomes a cyborg and then the film morphs into a wild ride and is very watchable. The film doesn't take itself too seriously and features one 'crazy-fresh' idea- Paramilitary combatants have workable firearms implanted in their arms; with Logan Marshall-Green. Three wins & 26 nominations. "67" Metascore and I would go to "82". From The Seattle Times: "Upgrade is a brutish, efficient and well-executed slice of cyberpunk action horror with a silly streak." Filmed in Melbourne, Australia.

Finished 'THE CONFESSION KILLER' (Netflix). The Texas Rangers claim that Henry Lee Lucas was responsible for 200 murders. No DNA evidence connects him to any of these crimes. Only 20 of the actual killers (positively linked by DNA) have been identified and apprehended so that leaves 180 cases that are not truly 'solved'. Police departments are reluctant to re-open these 'closed' cases. 

1130am: The PC is 'Off' and preparing to make the call to the guy so that my PC's can be 'upgraded'. High anxiety and I don't really know why. Money isn't an issue but it still seems almost too much to ask. After the call, it's anyone's guess as to sidewalk, treadmill, or Planet Fitness.

1230pm- 1245pm; Brandenburgs apple delivery: She texted me just as I was going downstairs for a 'bowl' and a walk on the treadmill {I had just eaten 33 mgs of 'VIIA'}. I showed them the 'new' chairs and how impossible the directions were on the downstairs recliner. Neither one of them understood the directions and I'm glad that I wasn't the only one who was mystified. They stayed about twenty minutes.

Still unseasonably warm with a mix of sun & clouds. Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80".
