Up 645am; partly sunny and to mid 50's.
Wrote up 'BORDERLINERS'- Peter Hoeg for the blog. The first book in a long, long time that I really did not like- or really missed the point.
Listening to Danny McBride on WTF and decided to start with a couple of his EASTBOUND & DOWN's.
930am- it seems that the new phone is partially activated. I've gotten some the old apps from the Tracfone- most important!! Google Play, but I don't seem to be on the network to make or receive calls. I'll make a stop at the Xfinity store on the way to the 'Y' later.
Now on the phone with YSA to find out why I didn't get that thousand dollars that I spent at the dentist last week. The plot-line seems to be that I have to go to Westside and get the paperwork on the work that was done and then send this to The Woodlands, YSA. I'm also going to ask about the cap on the right molar. When I use the flossing tool it gets stuck and I'm afraid that I might pop off the cap.
Then, to Xfinity to get properly on the service, buy some type of case for the new phone, and finally 'Y'.
1045am began where I left off, and finished THE FIFTH ESTATE on Netflix.
1pm- on the road to Westside; made an appointment for 130pm on Monday to address the problem with the cap on the lower right side. Floss gets stuck and I have to cut it or risk popping off the new cap. I think that I'll wait before I submit any more paperwork since the dentist's claim is still pending. I might owe more than a grand, or I might be flush. Idiots!
Over to Xfinity and I had to wait longer than I expected. The place was packed with geezers- mostly contesting bills. The problem with my phone was that I needed a new SIM card. I don't even know what that is, but now the phone works great. I also learned that all of my contacts had transferred. Tomorrow I want to see if I can get all of my apps to the new phone. I tried to get a case for the phone, but nothing at Xfinity or at Walmart- at any price! Will check the Internet.
230pm on the machines at the 'Y'. 45" Walk (3.5 1/2- 0). 45" Recumbent Bike (PARIS TROUT; listened to Google Play for the first time on the new phone. Works fine!). 45" Cross. 45" Bike (Listened to the last 25" of the WTF interview with Danny McBride and watched Youtube videos about the LGX Charge phone). 30" Cross.
Home to soak in the tub, read more Peter Dexter, and listen to The Beautiful South.
The next episode of WILD WILD COUNTRY for tonight. THE SENTINEL came in the mail from Netflix for tomorrow morning. Can't wait.
