Up 545am; Overcast with temps to mid 50's- rain beginning early afternoon and continuing through late Tuesday.
Listened to Sharon Stone on WTF; 'Mosaic'. For some reason, 'Unspeakable' by Bill Frissell won't load to Google Play. Will wonders never cease? In about an hour, the Bill Frissell album uploaded. How come the Smashing Pumpkins disc went up at once, and there was a rather long delay with Bill?
A little after 830am a guy from the city pulled up in front in a pickup truck. He was here to check for buried lines in the back. I spoke to him as he was leaving, and he said that after the work is done, I can just throw away the orange flags. He needed to take a picture of his work, but his batteries were dead- more in the truck, he said.
Watched a documentary on Xfinity called, 'ALL GOVERNMENTS LIE' which was about what you'd expect- Chomsky featured prominently, and Matt Taibbi is obviously the new HS Thompson- we need an army more like him!
Called ATT and the process of 'porting' is ongoing- we think. They can't shut down the land line until the number is changed over, and that can take a few more days. Makes No Sense At All. Then, I called the library about the CD that was returned last week, but is still on my account. They located it, and it's deleted. And, I emailed Janny with the Chat Wrap and 'Phone Fun'.
Two more CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM (1145AM)- 'Seder with the neighborhood sex criminal'/ 'Big Vagina'.
145pm- to the 'Y'. 45" Walk. (3.4-3.6/0- ankle feels better, but I plan to do another 45" tomorrow at Planet Fitness after the dentist). 45" Recumbent Bike. 45" Cross. 30" Bike. 30" Cross. Home to soak in the tub and listen to various artists doing 'Joy Division/ New Order', and reading more THE BORDERLINERS.
I'll begin a very long German Netflix disc, 'TONI ERDMANN'- 2 hrs 42". This film reminds me of something that Adam Sandler might tackle because of the discordant tone of the film. A father with a very passive aggressive attitude pays a visit to his daughter who is doggedly focused on her career- sparks fly.
