Amazon Prime, 'THE KING OF DEVIL'S ISLAND'. Fairly standard prison drama only this one is based on life at a boys work camp off the coast of Norway; Stellan Skarsgard is featured.

BESIDE BOWIE: THE MICK RONSON STORY, Amazon Prime (1030am). The documentary makes the irrefutable case that Mick Ronson's arrangements and guitar playing were essential to the career of David Bowie. Bowie's genius would have made him a star, but Ronson elevated him to rock star status. And, who knew that Angela Bowie was American? Excellent film and absolutely vital for anyone who is a fan of Bowie, or Lou Reed, or Morrisey, or Iggy Pop, or many other musicians of the Swingin' 70's. I was also shocked to learn that Ronson produced 'Jack & Diane' for John Mellencamp, but it certainly fits. 

1230pm The Weekly Cleaning. Called Xfinity about 115pm and I think I've got a great plan. Details later, but it's not costing any more than ATT, and I'm up to 60Mbps with thirty choices of TV. The land line is history, I'll get a new smartphone, and I'll retain the same phone number as my ATT account. I'm happy!
Called Elsie's and shared the news, and I learned that he'll be 104 tomorrow. Nice work, couldn't happen to a better guy. It's possible that one hundred veteran/ bikers will show up on Paradise Lane. Believe it when ya see it. 
On the machines at FitClub 230pm. 45" Octane (THEM's 1st). 45" Walk. 3.5-3.6/0 and when I tried to up it to 3.7 the pain intensified. 45" Recumbent Bike. 45" Cross. 15" Old Style Cross. Old Angry Republican Jack was there but he minded his business and went out of his way NOT to start any shit. Whirlpool. 
Home for one beer and will watch a Kim Basinger movie called 'THE 11th HOUR' on Amazon Prime. Felt very much like a foreign film, and I liked it. Very dark and dour, maybe the first, 'Fertility Thriller' that I've ever seen. European rich lady wants a baby because she can't have one so she drives to the Russian border to try to get a baby from the mafia. She picks up a dwarf and he steals one for her. The hoods track them down, steal back the baby, kill the dwarf, and then she gets kidnapped for four months. During that time she becomes pregnant...."Thank you"! 
The installation by Xfinity should occur between 10am and noon tomorrow. Can't wait.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Seems to be Ben Kingsley, but he's not the killer, he's an ex-agent who can do 'remote viewing'. We 4/23/25- Gummy 645am {I took 1/4 of a 200 mg of 'DIET SMOKE' gummy: 50 mg total}. 650am (1-LB: Cookie Bread). 910am (1/2-LB: Cookie Bread).  1220pm (1-LB: Panama Punch). 535pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker). 815pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker).  Up 545am: A mix of suny & clouds with temps to about 80. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
