Up 7am; overcast, possible showers, 40's.

YIKES!!!!! Heard a reference to 'Tax Day' on NPR and realized that I haven't done anything about the taxes. Will call Cowan 8am sharp tomorrow!

Watched a fairly decent Ray Liotta (he starred and was the executive producer). Black crime lord is a 'ghost'. Nobody knows who he really is- gave out twenty drivers licenses in his name. His ambitious plan is to infiltrate all areas of government and buy up real estate that will be worth millions. However, his girlfriend, who is passing as black?, gets the gold; convoluted, but worth it.

Watched three episodes of 'ONE MISSISSIPPI' (Tig Novato/ Diablo Cody- produced; also Louis CK). I saw this in an article at Huffington about 'shows to watch on Prime'. 


Email sent to SPEEKS ELECTRIC (525-3746); 1045am called and left word.

"Last night I noticed that part of the power was out at my home. I tried to put the breaker switch back to the 'on' position, but it would just flip back to 'off'. I've done all I can, and I think that the switch is bad.

Speeks called about 1230pm and said he'd call about noon tomorrow. Sounds like an older guy; if he knew somebody for thirty years (Bob Leffler) I guess he would be. 

145pm- weekly cleaning; Called Elsie's and talked with Lannie for a long time. No problems between us- she's just busy when I called the last two times. 10-15" with her; called back in ten- he was in the bathroom, and just a couple minutes with him.

3pm on the machines at FitClub. 45" Octane (GREETINGS FROM ASHBURY PARK). 45" Recumbent Bike (BOSCH). 45" Cross (COLLATERAL). 30" Recumbent Bike (LOVE). 30" Cross. 

Home to soak and read DEADWOOD and listen to Sheryl Crow. Upstairs for the second night due to the electrical problems.
Begin '24 HOURS TO LIVE' (Netflix). This idea has been done before with someone other than Ethan Hawkes-  A surgical procedure give a hit-man twenty-fours to live... kiss kiss bang bang.

I first thought that they were for the house across the street, but it looks like the action is farther down the road. Still unseasonably warm with a mix of sun & clouds. Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80".
