Up 720am; mostly cloudy and temps to the upper sixties.
Wrote up YOUNG JANE YOUNG for the blog, then ATOMIC BLONDE (Xfinity); 830am. Slightly above fair- A list of all western operatives (hidden in a wristwatch?) must be smuggled out of Berlin as the Wall comes down. The watch is lost, but a guy has memorized the list, and he's gotta go. Lots of Kung-Fu Fightin' and perilous car chases. Charlize Theron plays a more-or-less cartoon, super-hero role.
After drinking the brewed pot of coffee, I added plain water and it just ran through- something broken. And, I called Speeks twice and got nothing. Will call late this afternoon.
1145; Another 'THE CHI'. Then, the next 'ONE MISSISSIPPI'.
2pm began the weekly cleaning, and then the plan is to rake up the leaves by the garage and put them in the barrel, and hit the dollar store before or after the workout to get a new coffee pot.
Did the cleaning and raked up a barrel of leaves from the walk by the garage. Called Elsie's and got right through; talked a couple of minutes and no bathroom interludes.
I checked the phone and noticed that a cd that I hadn't ordered was listed, but KING KRULE 'The Ooz' was in. Drove downtown, picked up KING KRULE, and south on sixth where I stopped at the Dollar Store on South Grand. I bought a 10 cup coffee pot for twelve bucks. If it works for a couple of weeks, I got my money's worth.
430pm on the machines at Planet Fitness. 45" Walk. (HOMELAND). 45" Recumbent Bike (GYPSY). 45" Cross (HOMELAND). 30" (listened to an old WTF from Itunes that shifted to Google Play. I couldn't find a way to fast forward, so it's about worthless unless you want to listen to an hour and a half at a swipe).
Home to soak, read THE GUARDIAN, and listen to HERE NO EVIL; MONKEES TRIBUTE. In the living room and will start Netflix film, ABACUS; SMALL ENOUGH TO JAIL. To bed 11pm with Jeffrey Konvitz novel.
