'LONG STRANGE TRIP- Who's in charge here?' (Amazon Prime) Part IV of a documentary about the Grateful Dead.The period from 1974 to about 1980. The huge, vertically stacked PA that was designed by 'Bear' (Owsley), and the rise of hard drugs in and around the band.

At the last minute I decided to watch an 'EASY' on Netflix. High school girl is caught in bed with her boyfriend and her parents make her attend church. To get back at them she donates her $50,000 to the church, and the priest spends it on an alter and she freaks out. It could have been used to help the poor!! Very strange episode.

245pm The Clean-Up, and after that I got the taxes in a folder. The appointment is tomorrow at 1030am. Bring Checkbook.

Biked to Planet Fitness, but stopped at LA FITNESS when I learned that they are open till 8pm on Sundays. 4pm- 45" Walk. 3.6/0 (FATTEST PEOPLE IN BRITAIN- so close to 'My 600 Pound Life'. Makes you think that all fat, poor people are taking are hard-earned tax dollars....Save Us Koch Bothers!!!). 45" Recumbent Bike (TRAIN/ Smashing Pumpkins). 45" Cross (REDEMPTION- new British series; young couple is killed and the killer comes back to the families homes in rural Scotland). 30" Bike (finished REDEMPTION and made the call to Elsie's House. Canker-sore made it difficult to talk. I'm fucking sick of this!.

Biked home and soaked, listened to TAR and read more TRAIN. More BOSCH for tonight- still don't know the 'why and what' of the murder of Bosch's ex-wife.

Still unseasonably warm with a mix of sun & clouds. Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80".
