Up 720am; Clammy, mostly cloudy and warm. To upper 80's. Feels like rain, but not in the forecast. Mowing the lawn after the film looks like a 'solid GO".

Wrote up THE PAPERBOY for the blog.

Netflix disc, 'THE FLATLINERS' (820am).

1130am- I mowed the lawn, and it went without a hitch except I had to rake some of the back yard- pine needles are still a factor. Took only an hour for everything and only about a third of a barrel.
Read more of 'Fikry' on the couch and on the bike to Planet Fitness 3pm, but I ran into a mailman just north of the mall. When he saw me he said, 'You must have a Netflix'. I had given him a disc over a year ago and he remembered the encounter. So, I gave it to him and hit LA Fitness.

Home to soak and finish THE STORIED LIFE OF AK FIKRY- loved this novel. A little on the 'YA' side, but still quite moving. Almost the emotional punch of A MAN CALLED OVE). And, more STONE DIARIES; I've loved this novel for decades and I'm so glad that I found it.

 Episode one of EVIL GENIUS (Netflix). Another great Netflix series, and this one's by The Duplass Brothers! The famous Pennsylvania bank robbery. Man enters a bank with an explosive device handcuffed to his neck. He claims he was forced and the bomb is set to explode- it does! The series explores what really happened. I love it already.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Seems to be Ben Kingsley, but he's not the killer, he's an ex-agent who can do 'remote viewing'. Not bad, but close, however excellent and creative charcoal drawings as the 'hints' to Eckhart's character. Another episode of 'I'M DYING UP HERE', and then another 'GLOW'. 250PM- Drove to FitClub West, then after the workout to the County Market on south sixth for beer and some groceries- and a dependable can opener! We 4/23/25- Gummy 645am {I took 1/4 of a 200 mg of 'DIET SMOKE' gummy: 50 mg total}. 650am (1-LB: Cookie Bread). 910am (1/2-LB: Cookie Bread).  1220pm (1-LB: Panama Punch). 535pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker). 815pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker).  Up 545am: A mix of suny & clouds with temps to about 80. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
