Up 6am; Overcast, but cool- mid 60's. To the 80's with clouds.

Wrote up THE STONE DIARIES for the blog. 

725am; Watched, "Author: The JT LeRoy Story - an Amazon Original Movie". A thought- provoking documentary about a writer of fiction who uses a completely different person to act as herself for the benefit of the public; way beyond the use of a penname, but is it a Hoax or a Metaphor?

11am- reading THE LAST BALLAD.
1215pm called Walmart about the Tamsulosin. It was ready for pickup, but they close for lunch from 130pm-2pm. Got there in plenty of time; out across Wabash, and then the trail west to the theaters. Checked for nails to fix the basement steps, but nada.
On the way out, I passed Lowe's and got a pack of nails for a buck and a half. North on Koke and back through the sub-division on Turning Mill. On the machines at Fitclub 145pm.
45" Octane (the retired coach talked about how much he liked LA Fitness. I've been telling him to try it for over a year) SIAMESE DREAM- Smashing Pumpkins. 45" Recumbent (HOMELAND). 45" Walk. (HOUSEWIVES OF NYC REUNION). 45" Cross (THE RAIN). Legs/ Chest/ Biceps. 30" Old Style Cross (DEAR WHITE PEOPLE).
Whirlpool/ Pool. 
Home to hammer a few nails into the step- It's better, but not a 100% fix. And, the computer is getting real flaky using Windows Media Player. 3 beers and will start a film on Amazon Prime.
Two in the mail from Netflix; 'DOWNSIZING' for tomorrow morning, but tonight the first hour of INTO THE FOREST; Ellen Page/ Evan Rachel Wood. Two sisters in a remote cabin in the Northwest with no power, internet, communication, and their father has been killed in an accident and they're running out of food.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Seems to be Ben Kingsley, but he's not the killer, he's an ex-agent who can do 'remote viewing'. Not bad, but close, however excellent and creative charcoal drawings as the 'hints' to Eckhart's character. Another episode of 'I'M DYING UP HERE', and then another 'GLOW'. 250PM- Drove to FitClub West, then after the workout to the County Market on south sixth for beer and some groceries- and a dependable can opener! We 4/23/25- Gummy

We 4/23/25- Gummy 645am {I took 1/4 of a 200 mg of 'DIET SMOKE' gummy: 50 mg total}. 650am (1-LB: Cookie Bread). 910am (1/2-LB: Cookie Bread).  1220pm (1-LB: Panama Punch). 535pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker). 815pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker).  Up 545am: A mix of suny & clouds with temps to about 80. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}. This was the quote at the end of the series: "I am the Lord who frustrates the omens of diviners and makes a mockery of magicians, who turns back the wise and turns their knowledge into folly"...Book of Isaiah. ***Phone had to be restarted because I 'was not connected to a network'.  ***925am: 'Diet Smoke' gummy order arrived on the front porch via FedEx; Watermelon/ Acapulco Gold Watched 'HOW TO HAVE SEX' (Netflix). Pk southside, Wiggins, Ash, Lincoln, Leland, Douglas, Wash. Pk southside, MacArthur, Wash. Pk northside, up the hill, Parkview, Fairway, and up to 940...ONE HOUR AND 35 MINUTES; ORNETTE COLEMAN Playlist; began a J.R.E. with an English podcaster. 9am: Janny called and they will be here after their appointment with Dax at 10am.   Watched more of 'HIGH TIDES' (Netflix)- The Belgian soap opera of 'all the beautiful people'. 1045am- 1235pm: She met one of her students who was a girl who is now a man. We exchanged books & Joe recommended an 'oiler' that fits under the belt of a treadmill. Melissa is now '2nd in command' at the Illinois Parole Board...
