Up 7am; I thought that it was supposed to rain early today, but it's coming late this afternoon (I hope). Rain figures prominantly over the next several days; 90's. 

Watching Netflix disc, 'KILLER JOE'. I picked this up after the interview with Sam Jones and Michael Shannon. Shannon played the lead in the play, and Emile Hirsh in the film; film also stars- Matthew McConaughey, Juno Temple, Thomas Haden Church, and Gina Gershon. Both the film and screenplay were written by Tracey Letts, and the film is directed by William Friedkin; 'The French Connection'/ 'The Exorcist'/ 'Bug'.  Loved it, and I wonder the reason why Shannon couldn't play the lead in the film? 

Wrote the chat wrap and downstairs to finish the Bonus Features to KILLER JOE. 11AM; Behind The Scenes on the film and then watched the last hour and a half of the Oasis bio- 'SUPERSONIC'.

2pm- to Wabash PO, and then on to FitClub South. No rain or relief from the heat- blistering as fuck!

45" Good Octane. 45" Walk. (RAY DONOVAN- last of the season) 45" Cross (2nd of next season, for some reason, episode #1 could not be downloaded). 45" Recumbent Bike (began 'SMILE'- Roddy Doyle, the book club selection for this month). 30" Walk. (more of the Sam Jones interview with Michael Connelly).

Very heavy rains rolled through the area about 530pm while I was on the machines. On the way home I noticed a huge tree branch in a yard on Parkview near Kenyon. Everything fine on Westview..."The buds were bursting and the air smelled sweet and strange".
2 beers and listened to North Mississippi All-stars and more 'Smile'. 2 more for another 'THE STAIRCASE', and more of THE RACHEL DIVIDE.

I first thought that they were for the house across the street, but it looks like the action is farther down the road.  Th 10/2/25 8am (1-LB: Diablo's Hearse). 10am (1-B: Citrus Mac). 1220pm (2-LB: Citrus Mac). 535pm (1-LB: Citrus Mac). 810pm (1-LB: Diablo's Hearse).  Up 715am: {took a dump at 4am}. Still unseasonably warm with a mix of sun & clouds. Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80".
