Sa 8/4/18- Momentary Power Outage

Up 715am; Sunny and fairly hot; about the same as yesterday- to 90-ish.

815am- listening to Dweezil Zappa on WTF and finishing the notes in the blog for 'THE COMMITMENTS' when the power went off. I heard two muffled explosions, and I thought we'd be down for a long, long time, but it came on within seconds. Has the power company done something? Still, it's an inconvenience.

830am- back to 'MAGNOLIAS'. It's very long and packed with stars, but worth every second. Damaged and flawed characters seek a way of forgiveness. 

On the lawn 1230pm; the woman next store just finished theirs. Pulled almost a full barrel of weeds from the Virgin Mary Bed....looks virginal.
2pm on the bike to Planet Fitness. 45" Walk (Hoopla Music- Graham Parker). 45" Recumbent Bike (read Connelly/ Pat Metheny- Hoopla). 45" Cross (1st Season 5, THE WIRE). 45" Bike (read). 30" Cross (THE WIRE and an interview with another cast member from GLOW- Sam Jones Interviews).
Downstairs PC went out of 'Sleep' due to this morning's power outage,and had to be restarted. No problem.

Watched the last,  'WRONG MAN' (Xfinity) which was a continuation of the previous episode. I'd only give this series only a 'C'.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Seems to be Ben Kingsley, but he's not the killer, he's an ex-agent who can do 'remote viewing'. We 4/23/25- Gummy 645am {I took 1/4 of a 200 mg of 'DIET SMOKE' gummy: 50 mg total}. 650am (1-LB: Cookie Bread). 910am (1/2-LB: Cookie Bread).  1220pm (1-LB: Panama Punch). 535pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker). 815pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker).  Up 545am: A mix of suny & clouds with temps to about 80. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
