Up 730am; cloudy and rain predicted for most of the day. To 80, but feels cooler. Rain passed us by, but cloudy all day.

Wrote up 'THE YEAR OF THE FLOOD' for the blog and I also made a post at GoodReads.

Watched 'LOGAN LUCKY' (Amazon Prime) I watched this last year, but hope it's worth another look. Most definitely worth another look! Very clever heist movie by some 'Hee-Haw Heroes'; dir. Steven Soderbergh ('UNSANE').
Started an Amazon Prime bio-doc of Marc Bolan, but will save this for 'Evening Viewing', and began a new Amazon Prime series called, 'SCAMMED'.


Screwed around with Coventry insurance trying to find if I'm covered and at what facilities in Phoenix. Finally learned that the website only covers carriers in Illinois.
Emergency visits or Urgent Care is covered out of state.

230pm on the bike to LA Fitness. 45" Walk (MANIAC). 45" Recumbent Bike (Finished 'STONE COLD'/ 'Electric Warrior'- T. Rex; Google Play). 45" Cross. (MANIAC). 45" Bike (began 'THE CAMEL CLUB'- David Baldacci on Kindle from the library). 30" Cross (GLOW).
Home just before dark, and into the tub with the phone, and Live Hendrix from Winterland.
Another 'ATYPICAL' Season 2, then the rest of the T. Rex/ Marc Bolan bio that I was watching on Amazon Prime.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Seems to be Ben Kingsley, but he's not the killer, he's an ex-agent who can do 'remote viewing'. Not bad, but close, however excellent and creative charcoal drawings as the 'hints' to Eckhart's character. Another episode of 'I'M DYING UP HERE', and then another 'GLOW'. 250PM- Drove to FitClub West, then after the workout to the County Market on south sixth for beer and some groceries- and a dependable can opener!  Th 10/2/25 8am (1-LB: Diablo's Hearse). 10am (1-B: Citrus Mac). 1220pm (2-LB: Citrus Mac). 535pm (1-LB: Citrus Mac). 810pm (1-LB: Diablo's Hearse).  Up 715am: {took a dump at 4am}. Still unseasonably warm with a mix of sun & clouds. Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80". Borrowed 'HOLY COW' and 'TO THE ENDS OF THE EARTH' from Hoopla to meet my quota for September. Watched 'HOLY COW' (Hoopla). A troubled teen and his young sister try to make a go of it on their farmstead dairy after their father dies. It's got a strange tone and far from an average 'coming of age' tale. Set in far eastern France near the rural villages of Pimorin and Orgelet which are about 75 miles west of Geneva, Switzerland.
