Up 620am; another bright and sunny day in the fifties to low sixties, and the wind is no longer howling.

Watched 'BEIRUT' (Amazon Prime); Jon Hamm/ Rosamund Pike. In 1972 an American diplomat's wife is murdered and the thirteen year old boy that they have sponsored is kidnapped by terrorists. Ten years later the diplomat is an alcoholic union negotiator in Boston, and American intelligence desperately need him to return to Beirut to negotiate a deal. The thirteen year old has become a terrorist and has kidnapped the diplomat's friend. The kid that he sponsored and now a terrorist will trade this man for his older brother who is an international terrorist and captured by the PLO. An intelligent movie that's really about 'the art of the deal'.

Watched the first episode of 'BODYGUARD' (Netflix); I listened to a review on Fresh Air this morning. This looks like it's going to be good, but must use the sub-titles because the accents are a little too thick.

The second 'BODYGUARD'for tonight, and then an episode of a Netflix series about people in prison- there are many.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Seems to be Ben Kingsley, but he's not the killer, he's an ex-agent who can do 'remote viewing'. Not bad, but close, however excellent and creative charcoal drawings as the 'hints' to Eckhart's character. Another episode of 'I'M DYING UP HERE', and then another 'GLOW'. 250PM- Drove to FitClub West, then after the workout to the County Market on south sixth for beer and some groceries- and a dependable can opener! We 4/23/25- Gummy 645am {I took 1/4 of a 200 mg of 'DIET SMOKE' gummy: 50 mg total}. 650am (1-LB: Cookie Bread). 910am (1/2-LB: Cookie Bread).  1220pm (1-LB: Panama Punch). 535pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker). 815pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker).  Up 545am: A mix of suny & clouds with temps to about 80. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
