Up 730am; Warmer and more humid; windy and temps to 90. Might meet or beat a Heat Record.
Watched 'BACKSTABBING FOR BEGINNERS' (Amazon Prime) Ben Kingsley plays one of the top UN officials responsible for 'The Oil For Food Program'. During the sanctions against Iraq this UN directive allowed Iraqi oil to be sold and the money used for the people of Iraq. However, the program was riddled with corruption and the story is about a young whistleblower who decides that pragmatism and moral relativity are not the same. Very interesting.
1145am walked to Supercuts to get a shoulder length cut. Then on to Dollar Store at Fairhills for a car mount for the phone. Will use the phone to try out the GPS systems of Waze and Google Maps. Already liking Google Maps because Waze says I should walk down the street to Westview and Fairway, and obviously it's quicker to walk up the street to Kenyon.
At the haircut the young girl was familiar with both programs even though she owned an Apple phone she said that Apple had gotten her lost and she liked Google Maps for around town and Waze for 'on the road'. Waze provides the best 'real time' conditions. She also mentioned 'FIVE BELOW STORE'- like a Dollar Store only Five and located in the same strip mall as the old 'Toys R Us'
Three buck tip and $16 total. Walked to Fairhills but they didn't have the phone/ car mount, and back up Monroe to Fairway.
Walked home and listened to a 'Huh' compilation and read more of 'STONE COLD'.
215PM In the car to 'FIVE BELOW'. Got a good mount, but a bit snug, but will work. Tested Google to Planet Fitness and it really works.

Much difficulty when I tried to install the latest update (1809) for Windows 10. The entire time I was downstairs it was installing, and I left the machine on all night. I watched the first episode of a Canadian series called 'STRUGGLE FOR JUSTICE'. Jamie Nelson is falsely accused to rape and spends almost two years behind bars. His accuser was found to have brought false allegations against numerous men. Odd to hear because in Real Life we are in the midst of the Kavanaugh dilemma.
(835am Thursday morning the PC came on as usual, but asked to be restarted and said that THIS would take longer than usual).
