Up 720am; frigid temps, mostly sunny with temps from the teens to the upper twenties all day.

Wrote up NATCHEZ BURNING'for the blog.

Watched 'THE GETAWAY' (Amazon Prime) Sam Peckinpah with writers, Walter Hill; screenplay and Jim Thompson; novel. Steve McQueen, Ali MacGraw, Ben Johnson, Sally Struthers, and a bunch of other stars of the sixties; music by Quincy Jones. Great bank robbery sub-plot/ 'neat con'- guy helps you put your luggage into a key locker, then palms your key and gives you another/ nifty driving sequences/ gunfights galore.

Then, an episode of 'FOLLOW THIS'(from Buzz Feed; Netflix). About the new phenomenon of 'swatting'.

Want to be on the machines at FitClub West by 1230pm, so that I can do a full workout and be at the Olive Garden by 5pm.

When I went to FitClub West I forgot the running shoes (and this was the first time in boots), so I had to drive back home to pick them up; in the front door and cracked Buddy's head when shutting the door. He's OK and chastised for his curiosity.
1245pm on the machines. 45" Precor (UNCLE TUPELO). 45" Walk (Reality TV all day). 45" Recumbent Bike. 45" Cross. 20" Old Style Cross. Whirlpool/ Pool.

At the Olive Garden at 458pm and Jan and Joe were already seated. $42 plus and eight dollar tip. I had the soup/ salad; but I only got one bowl and one large Bud. They enjoyed it, and I'll be going to their house on Thanksgiving; 2pm.
Home to watch 'STRANGE WEATHER' (Netflix). Holly Hunter grapples with her adult son's suicide.....RESOLUTION ... An asshole friend appropriated his plan for the 'Hot Dawgs' franchise after her son blew his brains out (for a variety of other issues); his mother was not culpable- no one was. Strange Movie, but barely worth a look.
Then began, TRICKY DICK AND THE MAN IN BLACK.

Still unseasonably warm with a mix of sun & clouds. Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80".
