We 11/7/18
We 11/7/18
Up 730am; bright, breezy; 30's early to mid 40's.
Watched 'COPYCAT' (Netflix); Sigourney Weaver/ Holly Hunter/ Dermot Mulroney. The film is set in San Francisco where a new killer is recreating famous serial killings from the past. A reclusive female expert on serial murderers helps the police and becomes a target.
Then, the final episode of 'HOMECOMING'. This series owes much to director, David Lynch. 'The Homecoming' is a sinister therapeutic program developed by Geist Corporation to allow soldiers to forget their military past so that they can be re-sent to the front lines. Heidi is attracted to Walter, and can't go through with this insidious therapy. During their interactions, Heidi and Walter fantasize about traveling to the wilds of northern California, and Walter relocates and Heidi tracks him there. Although Walter's memory seems to be wiped clean, he rearranges the silverware from straight to crooked, knowing that this will jar Heidi's OCD. Then, after the credits roll, Colin is being demoted (fired?) and when he leaves the conference room, his new boss reaches into her handbag and rubs a vial of solution on her wrists- no explanation is given. Will there be another season?
Reading 1245pm, then I got caught up in cleaning out my Dropbox; surprising how much stuff is on there and I've got to get it backed-up.
3pm at Planet Fitness. 45" Walk (DESIGNATED SURVIVOR). 45" Recumbent Bike (MISSISSIPPI NATCHEZ/ 'FACE TO FACE'- Kinks). 45" Cross (Listened to two of the Gimlet podcasts of 'HOMECOMING'; Catherine Keener and David Schwimmer). 30" Cross (First episode of 'KIDDING' Jim Carey/ Catherine Keener/ Frank Langella).
Home to soak and more Iles/ THE LIME GREEN SPIDERS.
Will watch the first episode of 'MR. ROBOT' (Amazon Prime)- from the director of 'HOMECOMING'. Looks like another very fine series; then more of Steven Avery's legal troubles on Netflix.
