Awoke to realize that I had forgotten the call to Elsie's....Oh, shucky-darn!!
Up 515am; Frigid! Single digits early- to low twenties and partly cloudy.
Watched '12 STRONG' (Xfinity) Shortly after 911 a team of twelve American Special Forces was sent to Afghanistan to strike back at the Taliban. They kept the Northern Alliance alive and managed to defeat the Taliban in a major battle that was to last two years- they did it in three weeks. Most of the action took place on horses. I wonder how much of this was fact, and how much was John Wayne balderdash.
Then, 'THE BLACK COAT'S DAUGHTER' a.k.a 'FEBRUARY'(Amazon Prime) Directed by Anthony Perkins son and stars Julia Roberts daughter. A strange film and I had to consult two YouTube videos to unravel what was presented. Two girls are forced to spent a winter break at their boarding school because no one can pick them up. One of the girls becomes possessed by a demon and stabs and beheads everyone in sight. Another girl who is on the way to the school stabs and beheads the couple that has given her a ride. 'The Reveal' (it's never clearly revealed) is that the girl on the way to the school is the demon possessed murderess. It is nine years after the fact and she has just escaped from a mental hospital and returns to the school in the hopes of 'finding her demon'. It's just irony that she happens to get a ride from the parents of the girl that she murdered. Not a bad film, but as I said on the YouTube post....if the Kat/Joan characters would have been played by the same actress it would have made for a hell of a more understandable movie.

Home to call Elsie's. Lannie answered and we talked about his new urinary infection, what he's taking, and how perplexed I am that a urinary infection would have a psychological impact (I believe I've mentioned this several times before). Eleven minutes total, and I'm gone.
In the tub for 'WAKE OF THE FLOOD' and read more, 'EXIT WOUNDS'- Cop Tales From 80's Long Island.
Another 'MARVELOUS MRS. MAISEL' (Amazon Prime) Still in the Catskills, and I wish they'd get back to NYC.
Then I began episode #1 of , 'HUNTED'- British eight part series about a female agent (she works for a secret and private security outfit called, BYZANTIUM) who is trying to find out who put a hit out on her. She strongly suspects it's someone on her own team.
945pm upstairs and in bed to read.... Remember I awoke shortly after 5am this morning.
