Up 7am; partly sunny, but very cold. Temps only to low twenties.
Then watched, 'GRINGO' (Amazon Prime) With Joel Edgerton, Charlize Theron, and David Oyelowo. A comic/ thriller about a byzantine and hilarious executive ransom situation in Mexico. An evil corporation gets what it deserves, and the black man they hung out to dry makes good; well worth a look.
Then, the last of a two part series on serial killer, Harold Shipman called, 'DRIVEN TO KILL' (Netflix). Dr. Harold Shipman of Manchester, England might have killed over 250 people over a span of three decades. He doesn't seem to have any of the standard reasons for murder, he just did it because he could.
Then the end of episode #1 of, 'DATING AROUND' (Netflix) that I began last night, and then number 2 of the series. The appeal of the Bravo network is that their skanky egomaniacs are so obnoxious that you can't take your eyes off of the screen. The Netflix characters are too bland and predictable. The only thing that sets them apart is that they are very, very rich. Why the fuck would middle America side with these dumb-bells? The true question of our age: Why do Republicans idealize people who do not give a shit about them and then continue to vote against their real interests?
150 pm- To FitClub West. 45" Octane (BIGGER BANG- Stones). 45" Walk (Reality TV all workout). 45" Recumbent Bike. 45" Cross. 30" Old Style Cross.
Home to read 'ENTRIES FROM A HOT PINK NOTEBOOK' downstairs and listened to 'QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE'.
In the tub for more of the 'pink memoir' and listen to 'Please, Please Me'- THE BEATLES.
First episode of the new Amazon Prime series, 'LORENA'. Why did Lorena Bobbitt cut off her husband's penis? Big Trial from 1993 is examined.....I like it!
Then, 'NERVE CENTER'- UPS in Louisville, KY where their huge 'sorting center' is located. It makes you realize that computers are so integral to the modern world that it's hard to believe that anything at all was done in the past.
