Up 710am; rain today and through tomorrow afternoon. Temps in the mid to upper 30's today.

Watched 'VELVET BUZZSAW' (Netflix) A clever, goofy, exhilarating, and witty spoof on the high-end elite art world that is set within a 'haunted/horror' movie.  Vetril Dease, a criminally insane artist dies, his satanic and haunted paintings were to be destroyed, but greedy gallery owners are able to save his pieces and mass market this deadly art, and hellish mayhem ensues; Jake Gyllenhaal/ Rene Russo/ John Malkovich.

Then the next episode of 'BLACK EARTH RISING' (Netflix)

1220 pm- to FitClub West, then to Menards for replacement CO2/ Smoke Detector and a mechanical drill.
45" Octane (Got the 'change pix' working on Google Play this morning. Listened to 'TENNESSEE'- Lucero; with the album art). 45" Walk (All TV). 45" Recumbent Bike. 45" Cross. 30" Old Style Cross.
Drove to Menards and got a CO2 detector and a separate smoke detector; it was cheaper than buying one unit. I also got a small drill that plugs into a wall socket. I can use an extension cord.
Home to read for about a half hour downstairs with a cup of instant and listened to BLACK ORPHEUS.
I noticed that the phone is having trouble accessing the router. A half hour fucking around with it....and then it just reconnects like nothing happened. I wish I knew what was causing this!!!
Into the tub for 'THE DESERT ROSE' and Tom Verlaine.

Will start the first episode of  'HAROLD SHIPMAN- DRIVEN TO KILL' (Netflix). A serial killer that I had never heard of who murdered his patients for drugs and money for a couple of decades in the Manchester, Leeds area of England.

Then, the first two episodes of 'COURT JUSTICE'- an Australian 'Court TV' series similar to Judge Judy, only this one focuses on criminal cases.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Seems to be Ben Kingsley, but he's not the killer, he's an ex-agent who can do 'remote viewing'. Not bad, but close, however excellent and creative charcoal drawings as the 'hints' to Eckhart's character. Another episode of 'I'M DYING UP HERE', and then another 'GLOW'. 250PM- Drove to FitClub West, then after the workout to the County Market on south sixth for beer and some groceries- and a dependable can opener! We 4/23/25- Gummy 645am {I took 1/4 of a 200 mg of 'DIET SMOKE' gummy: 50 mg total}. 650am (1-LB: Cookie Bread). 910am (1/2-LB: Cookie Bread).  1220pm (1-LB: Panama Punch). 535pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker). 815pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker).  Up 545am: A mix of suny & clouds with temps to about 80. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
