Big Update on the living room PC yesterday. Everything fine this morning.
Up 710am; gray early, then partly sunny, very windy with gusts to 40-50 mph- to low 60's.
Watched Netflix disc, 'THE BROKEN CIRCLE BREAKDOWN' An exquisite film from Belgium about a bluegrass banjo player and a young female tattoo artist who bond over American country music, fall in love, and have a daughter. The little girl dies of cancer at the age of six, and the film is about how this tragedy effects their relationship; based on a play. I had seen this film several years ago and it was very well worth a second look.
Paid the card
Then, 'BAD MATCH' (Netflix) An online playboy hooks up with a woman who won't let him go. He thinks that to get revenge, she hacks his accounts and downloads gigabytes of child porn to him. But, she didn't do it- somebody else can't stand him. Very obvious if even I knew where it was going. Computer Noir?
1pm- reading and either Planet Fitness or FitClub South (Walmart for drill shopping and a new step).
Plans change and I left for the 'Y' about 130pm.
45" Walk (Reality TV all workout- mostly '60 DAYS IN'). 45" Recumbent Bike. 45" Cross. 30" Walk. 30" Cross.
To the gas station south of the 'Y' for $19 worth, and on to Walmart for five bucks worth of drill bits (not even sure that it will work in my drill) and I dragged a four foot stepladder to the check out but decided fourty-five was too much....based on nothing....no idea what they run).
Home to read and have a cup on the sofa, and then into the tub with 'PHYSICAL GRAFFITI' and more Travis.
Got texts from Janny about his war record.
'MAINLAND' for tonight (Amazon Prime) A very charming documentary about wealthy Chinese high school age students who elect to transfer to an elite boarding school in Maine. I thought the wealth of these kids families was astounding. The homes where they lived in China would shame some of the better homes in Beverly Hills, Cal. That's what global capitalism is all about.
