Up 720am; heavy rain right as I awoke. The area could get almost two inches today and rain in the forecast for the next several days; to low 70's. By late afternoon it was warm and not a cloud in the sky....Maybe we've dodged the bullet.
Paid the cards, and then watched Netflix disc, 'BLIND SPOTTING'. I watched this a while back on Xfinity, but it's well worth a second look. And, the VLC Player worked flawlessly!
It's really hard to believe that this is the work of a 'first time' director. Lottsa Big Concepts- Racism, Gentrification, Gun Violence, Incarceration, The role of Police in the Community, and even, Fan Loyalty. The title refers to the 'Vase/ Face' Optical Illusion. You might be conditioned to see one thing, but you might just be missing something just as relevant.
Watched 'SEVEN' (IMDB FreeDive) Over two hours, over twenty years old, and still a classic. On his last week on the job as a police detective, Morgan Freeman 'trains' Brad Pitt as his 'replacement'. Serial killer, John Doe (Kevin Spacey), has an obsession with 'The Seven Deadly Sins'. Gwyneth Paltrow's head in the box is not shown.
215pm: in the Elantra to The Dollar Store on Wabash for some $7 ear buds (but they rang up for five!), Wabash PO, and Planet Fitness.

Home to soak and listen to a collection of Moby Grape songs that I'd never heard; Amazon Music/ then more reading about Alaska Young and Friends.
'THE REAL GONE GIRL' (Amazon Prime) An amazingly poor documentary about a woman who uses her lover to kill her husband. It's essentially an audio book with video shot from inside of a car driving down two lane highways in the Carolinas or Northern Florida. Then switched to Netflix and watched the first part of, 'THE BLACK GODFATHER'.
