We 6/12/19- VCL PROBLEM WAS SOFTWARE!!
Up 620am; cool, cloudy, rain predicted for this afternoon- only to low 70's.
Watched Netflix disc downstairs, 'THE OLD MAN AND THE GUN' Kind of a tame, yet well done film about Forest Tucker- master thief and even a better escape artist. Robert Redford/ Sissy Spacek/ Danny Glover/ Tom Waits/ Ben Afleck.
845am: back upstairs, and.....HALLELUJAH!!!!!
I ran the update for the VCL Player and now it works!!!! I am so happy.
Watched 'ROLLING THUNDER REVUE: A BOB DYLAN STORY BY MARTIN SCORSESE' (Netflix) Watched about half of this over two hour film.
Then, 'PARKED' A homeless man lives in his car in a parking lot by the sea in Dublin, Ireland. He meets a young man who is also living out of his car, and the two form an unlikely kinship; Not bad for a small film.
115pm: PC is 'off', will read for a while, then off to the Wabash PO and Planet Fitness.
3pm on the machines at Planet Fitness. 45" Walk (UNDERCOVER). 45" Recumbent Bike (read LOOKING FOR ALASKA). 45" Cross (UNDERCOVER). 30" Walk (ENTOURAGE). 30" Cross (OFF CAMERA- Fred Armisen/ Andrew Bird).
Home to read on the couch for about 30", then in the tub with David Bird and more tales of Culver Creek School.
NEEDS NO INTRODUCTION- David Letterman with Tiffany Haddish. This black comedienne was thrown into foster care after her mother became incapable of taking care of her. The mother sustained severe head injuries after a couple of car accidents and these radically changed her behavior. Then more of 'ROLLING THUNDER REVUE'.
