Up 645am; another blistering scorcher- temps to mid 90's with a discomfort index through the roof.
Sent Janny an email about the completion of the sump installation.
Watched Netflix disc, 'HUNGRY HEARTS'. A surprisingly powerful rumination on Family, Motherhood, and Madness; with Adam Driver/ Alba Rohrwacher/ Roberta Maxwell. The oddest opening scene- man and woman are trapped in a restaurant bathroom just after the man has taken a particularly foul shit. A young woman learns from a fortune teller that she is about to give birth to an 'Indigo Child'-
"Indigo children, according to a pseudo-scientific New Age concept, are children who are believed to possess special, unusual, and sometimes supernatural traits or abilities. The idea is based on concepts developed in the 1970s by Nancy Ann Tappe and further developed by Lee Carroll and Jan Tober".
Then watched 'NINES, THE' (Amazon Prime) A very strange 'SciFi/ Mystery/ Alternative Reality' movie in which Ryan Reynolds plays an actor, writer, and video game designer who seems to be pursued by two women; with Melissa McCarthy/ Hope Davis/ Elle Fanning/ Ben Falcone. Shown in three parts where each of Ryan Reynold's personalities drive the story line. FUN FACT: koalas are telepathic and control the weather.
1245pm: Paid the bill to Acculevel. Very simple, just entered my credit card number in the email, and then downloaded the receipt. Then to Fairhills for the groceries; $50. Home to put them away and then first time for Green Car Wash next to the mall. Very polite and helpful. I will most definitely take advantage of the free car washes.
Then, to FitClub South, and on the machines by 245pm.
45" PRECORE. (RID OF ME). 45" Recumbent Bike (read 'DOUBLE WHAMMY'). 45" Walk. (TV). 30" Cross. (TV). 30" Walk. (TV). Whirlpool/ Therapy Pool/ Lap in Pool. Near the end I was the only one in the pool area, and the temps outside were in the mid 90's. Felt very, very good.
Home to read for a bit and load some new stuff for the choices on Amazon Prime and Netflix.
Watching 'TROUBLE BOUND' (Amazon Prime) Michael Madsen/ Rosanna Arquette/ Billy Bob Thornton. Madsen wins a car in a card game and picks up Arquette on the way to Las Vegas. They have no idea that there's a body in the trunk of their car. From 1993 and all of these well known actors look like kids. It's worth it just for that. And a 'CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM'.
