Up 710am; more humid, sticky weather. Partly cloudy, showers possible late afternoon- upper 80's.
Wrote up 'THE 25TH HOUR' for the blog.
Watched 'AVENGEMENT' (Hoopla) A young man's crime boss brother puts him in jail, and then posts a $20,000 hit on him while he's incarcerated. After fighting nearly the whole prison, the young man escapes, and gathers the gang in 'The Horse & Jockey' pub for some retribution; punching, kicking, and lots of teeth getting knocked out.
Then, 'THE PARK BENCH' (Amazon Prime) A sweet film about a Chicano college student who meets his English Lit tutor on a park bench for study dates, and they develop a relationship. Not as corny as it sounds, but close.
During the film I measured the downstairs area for possible tile replacement and wrote the Weekly Wrap and sent it.
215pm: To Menards to get the estimate of tile and labor, and then to the 'Y' for a workout.
Talked to a girl in the tile department and it's about $800 for the materials. She gave me a packet of installers and I called from the parking lot (in the air conditioned comfort of the Elantra). It looks like I'll be spending about $2,500 for the removal of the old carpeting and the install of the tile. Going to wait until I get the Acculevel estimate on Monday. But, it's One Way Or Another...

Was going to do the weekly grocery shopping at Fairhills, but it was after 7pm, so I got two 15 packs of the 'high octane' beer at the Marathon (Buddy?).
Home to soak and listen to THE JESUS AND MARY CHAIN and read more Orson Scott Card.
An episode of 'THE CONFESSION TAPES' (Netflix) A truck driver in rural Arkansas is forced to confess to a murder that he didn't commit...That he strangled a girl with a plastic tie. Makes No Sense.
