Sa 7/6/19- Supervisor from '2 GUYS & A TRUCK'
Sa 7/6/19
Up 730am; sunny and very humid and very hot without the chance of rain; to 90, but feels like triple digits.
Watched Netflix disc, 'THE AFTERMATH' A soap-operish approach to a star-crossed love triangle in Germany right after WWII. A high ranking English officer and his wife get to stay at a 'requisitioned' estate, and she falls for the German owner. He has lost his wife during the war, and she lost her son- that's their connection. I liked it, but I can see why one could dislike it; Keira Knightley/ Alexander Skarsgard.
The guy from '2 GUYS AND A TRUCK' called and arrived about 1020 am. Seems to feel they should be able to move the couch- remove legs and take the hinges off the inside door.
Finished 'THE AFTERMATH' and then watched 'THE BAD BATCH'. As if David Lynch did 'MAD MAX' or like a twisted futuristic/ cannibalistic/ spaghetti western. A teenage girl is abandoned by the authorities outside of Texas in an area where America's outcasts must live. She is taken in as a 'food source' for cannibals, and then escaped to 'Comfort', a desert community devoted to hedonism and drugs; Suki Waterhouse/ Jim Carey/ Keanu Reeves/ Ana Lily Amirpour directs. Shot in Slab City, CA which is just west of Salton Sea.
Watched a 25" YouTube interview with Suki Waterhouse and the director, Ana Lily Amirpour.
3pm: The plan was to bike to Wabash PO/ Planet Fitness, but just too fucking hot. Took the 'icy cool' Elantra.
45" Cross (THE OMENS). 45" Recumbent Bike (Spent the time getting the phone apps for LA Fitness and Planet Fitness/ read THE FOLK OF THE FRINGE). 45" Walk (OMENS/ ENTOURAGE). 30" Cross (OFF CAMERA- Norman Reedus). 15" Walk (OFF CAMERA).
To County Market/ Fairhills; $62. Still hotter than hell.
Home to soak and more O.S.Card and FLAMING LIPS/ ACE OF BASE.
The first episode of 'GENERATION KILL'. I almost ordered the disc of this series on Netflix, but it's free on Amazon Prime. It's supposed to be excellent! Iraqi invasion- 2003; Alexander Skarsgard.
