Up 630am; Another scorcher! Sunny and temps to mid 90's.

Shocked to learn that yesterday I sent back 'THE 25TH HOUR' and kept 'THE BOOKSHOP'. I'm pretty sure that I've never done this since I've been a member of Netflix.

Watched 'HOTEL ARTEMIS' (Hoopla) Jodie Foster runs a high-security, members-only hospital in a distopian future Los Angeles. The city is rocked with rioting and a crime boss arrives with his crew and he's badly wounded. Mayhem ensues...with Jeff Goldbum/ Jenny Slate/ Father John Misty.

Then watched, 'SPENT' (Amazon Prime)  Very low budget (almost a student film) filmed in Woodstock, VA. dark comedy about a man who recovers from a deadly brain tumor only to be poisoned by his son and wife. I had more fun checking out Google Maps about where the film was shot and visiting local businesses featured in the film than actually watching the movie.

1220pm: PC 'Off' and will bike to FitClub West. An early workout, and it's hotter than Hell.

Finished 'EYE IN THE SKY' and on the machines at FitClub West at 215pm. 45" Octane. (Sam Jones; OFF CAMERA interview with Sissy Spacek). 45" Walk (Reality TV all workout). 45" Cross. 30" Walk. 30" Cross.

Home to use the new vacuum for the first time. I assembled it before I left for the workout, and it went together fairly easily. The suction is far superior than the battery operated machine, but I hate dealing with the cord. The outlet in the hallway upstairs allows me to vacuum the entire upstairs, and the outlet near the downstairs space heater allows access to nearly all the downstairs including the stairs. An impressive amount of dust, dirt, hair, and fur in the intake unit.

Read downstairs, 'THE SIXTH MAN' and listened to THE MINUTEMEN 'LIVE'.

In the tub with DAVID BIRD/ LUCERO and more Baldacci.

'AZIZ ANSARI'- Right Now' (Netflix), then finished a 'GIRLS INCARCERATED' that I began yesterday.

I first thought that they were for the house across the street, but it looks like the action is farther down the road. Still unseasonably warm with a mix of sun & clouds. Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80".
