Up 730am; Sunny and only to 82 degrees...The heat wave has broken!
When I got up this morning I checked the dryer and the clothes were still wet. I thought the dryer was not working because I know that I turned it on last night. Works fine- maybe I just didn't set it for long enough.

Watched 'MISSION IMPOSSIBLE 3' Tom Cruise/ Philip Seymour Hoffman/ Jonathan Rhys Meyers/ Ving Rhames/ Michelle Monaghan....The reason they call it 'Impossible' is that it is impossible. Suspend Disbelief...Essential!! And, 'The Rabbit's Foot' is a MacGuffin.

Then, re-watched the last fifteen minutes of episode 1, 'GENERATION KILL'.

1215PM: On the bike to the 'Y'. 45" Walk (Reality TV All Workout; mostly INVESTIGATION DISCOVERY- 15 year old is murdered because she told her boyfriend she was pregnant. Remodeling store owner (Al Zullo Home Improvements) is hammered to death by her business partner in Loves Park, IL.). 45" Recumbent Bike. 30" Walk. 30" Cross.

Home to read and listen to Kitty Wells/ The Minutemen. Finished THE FOLKS ON THE FRINGE (skimmed most of the middle and read the author's notes).

In the tub for early Pink Floyd and began 'MIDTOWN SOUTH'- 80's procedural police novel set in NYC.

The next 'GENERATION KILL' (Amazon Prime), then the first 'OUTER LIMITS' (1995) Asleep by then.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Seems to be Ben Kingsley, but he's not the killer, he's an ex-agent who can do 'remote viewing'. Not bad, but close, however excellent and creative charcoal drawings as the 'hints' to Eckhart's character.  Th 10/2/25 8am (1-LB: Diablo's Hearse). 10am (1-B: Citrus Mac). 1220pm (2-LB: Citrus Mac). 535pm (1-LB: Citrus Mac). 810pm (1-LB: Diablo's Hearse).  Up 715am: {took a dump at 4am}. Still unseasonably warm with a mix of sun & clouds. Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80". Borrowed 'HOLY COW' and 'TO THE ENDS OF THE EARTH' from Hoopla to meet my quota for September. Watched 'HOLY COW' (Hoopla). A troubled teen and his young sister try to make a go of it on their farmstead dairy after their father dies. It's got a strange tone and far from an average 'coming of age' tale.
