Up 7am; cloudy to mostly sunny; to 80.

Watched 'THE AMERICAN FACTORY' (Netflix) A Chinese billionaire buys an abandoned factory in Dayton, Ohio to manufacture auto windshields and glass products. The factory closed during the recession of 2008, and workers went from making $29 per hour to $14 per hour. But because there were no jobs in the area, the workers felt they were lucky because at least they had work. The film shows how world-wide corporate strategy is to roll back all worker's rights of the last seventy years in the name of profitability and efficiency.

Following the film is a ten minute clip about The Obama's production company, 'Higher Ground'. This is the first release from their company, and it's an attempt to "help people understand something that they didn't understand before".

Then, 'A BAG OF HAMMERS' (Amazon Prime) An unbelievable premise, yet a very sweet Independent about a young boy and his possibly abusive mother who rent a house from two hipster grifters. The mother can't take care of her son, commits suicide, and the two hipsters try to become  'dads' to the boy. Best Comment On The Film: "a lovable puppy of a movie".
