Up 715am; sunny, breezy, cooler; to about 80.
Watched Netflix disc, 'THE CLOVE HITCH KILLER' A fine piece of storytelling about a boy who suspects his father is a serial killer. Shot in Louisville, KY in a neighborhood that looks very much like Westview Drive. A very strong Christian theme, and I thought it presented an accurate portrayal of contemporary, suburban Christian family life.
Finished the film and watched a couple of YouTube video reviews and an interview with two of the actors and the director.
1210pm: Turned of the PC to install the updates. These damn things are very annoying!
This update only took a few minutes, but the above is still true.
Read 'CADILLAC JUKEBOX' until around 2pm and then got a call from Janny. She had sent a picture this morning via Facebook of a couch in Sherman. I didn't know what this meant, and she called to tell me that they would get it and haul it to the house. I said that I didn't need it, and I was getting used to the extra space downstairs. She has a new phone, and I was mystified that the verbal message that she left was a text: "Hi, Ken this is 'Dan?'...."
On the machines at Planet Fitness (dropped the disc at the Wabash PO) by 3pm. 45" Walk (Watched the two hour mini-series of '13 STEPS DOWN'). 45" Recumbent Bike (Read 'CADILLAC JUKEBOX'/ THE LUMINEERS). 45" Cross (13 STEPS DOWN). 30" Walk (Episode One of 'CROSSING JORDAN'- pretty lame). 30" Cross (OFF CAMERA- Sam Jones interviewed by Jason Sudeikis).
Home to get the car and drive to County Market/ Fairhills and drove back because I had forgotten my fucking wallet. The front door lock was jammed up and I added some oil and it works fine. I bet that locked hasn't been used in months.
$68 for groceries and home to soak with more of the 'Cajun Detective' and THE CHRIS ROBINSON BROTHERHOOD/ AQUALUNG- Jethro Tull).
'THE NANNY KILLERS' (Amazon Prime) A posh London couple beat their nanny to death, and then try to burn her body on the backyard barbecue. Who would believe that they could even hope to get away with it? Then I rewatched 'DARK/ WEB' - Episode 3.
