Up 710am; light rain 8-9am, then cloudy and temps to about 80.
Watched, 'AMERICAN WAR FIGHTER' (Netflix) A Navy Seal suffers from PTSD and on his last mission he is killed on a recon mission in Iraq, yet a young girl who died during his childhood seems to intercede. I thought that it might go full-blown 'JACOB'S LADDER', but it didn't come close. I felt let down by the corny patriotism and phony Christian piety.
Then, 'BETWEEN TWO FERNS: THE MOVIE' (Netflix)
Joe and Jan arrived about 1150am and left about 2pm. A pleasant chat and the final payment from Lannie for the last month at Elsie's House is still up in the air. Melissa is a crook or inept, or maybe both, and Lannie is too naive to do anything about it. If we ever get the $4500 I will take my half and write a check and send it to Lannie. She was such a wonderful caregiver that I think she should get a 'tip' (Aside from the money, another 'tip' might be to drop her daughter as CFO before she runs the business into the ground). Joe gave me a check for a little over $16000 and I gave him a check from my Heartland account for $12000 which was slightly more than one percent of the Worden Estate. This is my payment to Joe for his work as executor of the estate.
Then I watched the last hour of 'BETWEEN TWO FERNS: THE MOVIE'. I don't think I've laughed this hard at anything. Then re-watched some of last night's 'UNBELIEVABLE'.
4pm: Drove to Planet Fitness. 45" Walk (Listened to a YouTube interview with Grant Hart). 45" Recumbent Bike (More Hart Interview). 45" Cross (TOP BOY). 30" Walk (YouTube interview with a member of BABES IN TOYLAND and a friend of The Replacements). 15" Cross (More Babes Interview); Three Hour Workout.
730pm when I got home and in the tub with more Kashmir intrigue and ERIK DYLAN.....HIS GRANDMOTHER WAS MY AUNT BONNIE.
Episode #7 'UNBELIEVABLE' (Netflix). Then the first two episodes of 'COMEDIANS IN CARS GETTING COFFEE'.
