More fierce storms rolled through at 3am. Up 730am with more rain predicted for this morning, then partly cloudy with temps to the mid to upper 80's.
Wrote up 'OPEN HOUSE' by Elizabeth Berg for the blog.
Watched 'IN THE SHADOW OF THE MOON' (Netflix) It's dicey to make a movie about time travel and not have it unravel. But, this movie is an exception. It's not the best, but at least a 'B Plus'. Beginning in 1988 a black woman is killing random people in Philadelphia with a deadly virus. A police detective is obsessed with the case and learns that the killer is actually from the future and is his grand-daughter. She's trying to stop a worldwide apocalypse by preventing key individuals from their dark destinies.
Then I watched, 'CLIVE DAVIS: THE SOUNDTRACK OF OUR LIVES' (Netflix) I watched the first twenty minutes of this a couple of nights ago and I finished the full two hours. The saga of a true music mogul, and I really got a kick out of the fact that one of his 'finds' that didn't make it was, 'ALPHA BAND'. Certainly one of the most overlooked bands of all time.
230pm: PC is off and I'll read for a while and then bike to LA Fitness for the workout.
330pm on the machines at LA Fitness. 45" Walk (TOP BOY). 45" Recumbent Bike (TOP BOY; TV news). 45" Cross (TOP BOY). 30" Walk. (TOP BOY). 30" Cross (Finished Season 2 of TOP BOY. I really liked it. More of the family relationships of drug gangs in
London). Hope there is a Season 3.
Just as I was getting ready to leave LA Fitness the sky exploded with a heaby rain. Nothing forecast at Google Weather, but I just waited a couple of miutes and I got home without any rain. I'll bet we got over two inches over the weekend.
Home to do the Weekly Cleaning and then in the tub with more 30's Realism and THE LIBERTINES/ THIRD EYE BLIND.
Watched episode 3 of 'COLD CASE FILES' (Netflix) A fourteen year old girl is knifed to death on her way home from school in Pleasanton CA. It was one of her sixteen year old classmates.
