Watched Netflix disc, 'GOLDEN EXITS' A thoughtful drama about how a 25 year old Australian girl on a summer internship intersects the lives of two families. She is to assist a man who is cataloging and archiving the manuscripts and notes of his famous father in law. Set in Carroll Gardens and Red Hook, Brooklyn NY; with Emily Browning, Adam Horovitz, Mary-Louise Parker, Jason Schwartzman, and Chloe Sevigny, and directed by Alex Ross Perry (HER SMELL). I really liked the film!
Then, 'A.M.I.' (Netflix) After the death of her mother a teenage girl downloads an app she calls 'Mother', and mayhem ensues. Teen-Scream Film from Vancouver, CA, and more than fairly lame.
145pm: Restart the PC to get yesterday's updates, then taking the Elantra to Green on Vets for a wash, and then on to the Wabash PO and Planet Fitness.
After the car wash, on the machines at Planet Fitness by 230pm. 45" Walk (SKYLINES). 45" Recumbent Bike (Read 'THE LATE SHOW'/ FUGAZI). 45" Cross (SKYLINES). 30" Walk (SKYLINES). 30" Cross (OFF CAMERA- Zach Galifianakis).
Home to mow the lawn; 530p-630pm including a little raking and sweeping.
On the couch for more reading and AC/DC on tape.
Then in the tub with LUCERO/ JOHN CALE and more Adventures with Rene Ballard.
The next, 'COLD CASE FILES' (Netflix) In 1989 in Newaygo, MI an eighteen year old girl is murdered in the woods after a party. Decades later, it's found that two brothers at the party did the deed.
Then watched part of , 'THE CHEF SHOW' with Seth Rogan. Then, another 'CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM'.
