Up 715am: Partly sunny and temps to mid 60's.

Downstairs to watch 'THE LIFE OF DAVID GALE' (Netflix) A Texas advocate to end the death penalty is convicted of rape and murder, and sentenced to death by lethal injection. However, it was all an elaborate 'frame' to demonstrate that the system is NOT infallible. He didn't kill anyone. His victim, who was also an advocate against capital punishment, committed suicide with the aid of others who were in on the hoax;  with Kevin Spacey, Laura Linney, Kate Winslet, and a small Gothic role for Melissa McCarthy. A bit hard to believe, yet a compelling bit of storytelling.

Then watched, 'TELL ME WHO I AM' (Netflix) Alex and Marcus are identical twins. In the early 80's Alex lost his memory after a motorcycle accident. Marcus teaches him about what Alex has forgotten, however Marcus chooses to delete dark secrets from their past. Thirty years later Marcus levels with Alex about the dire truth. It's revealed that their mother was the 'bad guy', but what of their father? And the family home looks like where the Stones recorded, 'EXILE ON MAIN STREET'. How did the family earn their income?

Home to read more 'THE KINSHIPS OF SECRETS' and listened to THE LOUD FAMILY downstairs.
Then in the tub with more Korean drama and JIMI HENDRIX- from a box set that I have on my Amazon Music and BAD BRAINS LIVE- CBGB.

Watched a documentary about Stiv Bators called 'STIV: NO COMPROMISES NO REGRETS (Amazon Prime). After watching the film I'm not really convinced that Stiv Bators was one of 'The Greats'. I think he should be realistically be slotted with the 'Also Rans'.  Due to name dropping, I was able to add a lot of music to Amazon Prime.

I first thought that they were for the house across the street, but it looks like the action is farther down the road. Still unseasonably warm with a mix of sun & clouds. Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80".
