Up 7am: Blustery, cloudy- to 60's.
Watched Netflix disc, 'FRIENDS WITH MONEY' "Smart, witty and alert to the buried resentments that poke through the shiny surface of affluence, Holofcener's film recognizes that money is the new sex."...The Rolling Stone (dir. Nicole Holofcener). It's pretty much a four woman story about women in their forties, but only some with money. I loved it; with Catherine Keener, Joan Cusack, Frances McDormand, and Jennifer Aniston.
Then I watched, 'DARK CRIMES' (Netflix) A Polish detective relentlessly tries to solve a cold case about a murder linked to an 'S&M Sex Club'. His suspect was not the murderer, but the guy's wife was. And, in the last scene, she poisons the detective. Intentionally grim, murky, and depressing; with Jim Carrey and Charlotte Gainsbourg. Only barely worth a watch.
Janny sent me an email with the Brandenburg kids' ages and they are on a mini road trip to North Carolina and Tennessee. I sent a reply.
2pm: Drove to Green and got a carwash, then to the Dollar Store up the hill from Planet Fitness and got a box of laundry fresheners, Men's vitamins, a big bag of sponges for a buck, and a container of toilet cleaner. Then to the Wabash PO to drop off the disc, and the workout at Planet Fitness.
45" Walk (TRAFFICKERS- the endangered Rhino; Netflix). 45" Recumbent Bike (Finished 'THE SECRETS OF KINSHIP'). 45" Cross (Two episodes of 'Two Sentence Horror). 30" Walk (ORANGE IS THE NEW BLACK). 30" Cross (ORANGE...).
Home to skim about have of 'THE SECRET OF KINSHIPS) and listened to THE COMMITMENTS. Then in the tub with a new John Grisham novel and listened to TOY CALDWELL/ TRAFFIC- 'Mr. Fantasy').
Watched the next 'BREAKING BAD' (Netflix), then part of 'THE CHEF SHOW', and then a few minutes of the 'Jenny Slate Comedy Special' (Netflix). Both were cutting out saying that Netflix was having problems???? But, I wanted to read some more of the Grisham novel anyway.
