Up 7am: Mostly sunny to mid 30's- Temps in teens early.

Watched, 'AMERICAN HISTORY X' (Netflix). I listened to 'OFF CAMERA' with Edward Norton last week, and happy to see that the film just dropped to Netflix stream. Norton said that he was up for the movie 'THE RAINMAKER' with Matt Damon. He went to the director, Francis Ford Coppola, asked if he should take the role of another lawyer, and felt that the movie would be 'too square'. Coppola advised him to do 'AMERICAN HISTORY X'. When Norton's character is doing his racist rants he sounds just like some of the stuff that's coming out of the White House these days.

Then watched, 'ASSIMILATE' (Netflix) A reworking of 'THE INVASION OF THE BODY SNATCHERS'.

****Got an email from Janny and Joe that they want to stop by with some more paperwork dealing with the Worden Trust. I thought we'd finished with that, and I have to be out of here by 1pm for the appointment at Green on Dirksen.

Joe and Janny left at 1255Pm. To Green and FitClub South.

I learned the correct tire pressure is NOT 32, but 36! So when one of the tires dropped to 28 it popped the sensor. They put air in the tires and the idiot light cleared immediately. The engine software update took an hour and I read 'THE THIRST', the local paper, and ate a bag of fresh popped popcorn and had a nice cup of coffee. Out of the dealership right at 245pm; just when the guy said it would be.

Drove to Hazel Dell and looked at my old work place.... No connection whatsoever. Then to the Walmart on South Sixth and got a $35 air compressor, two insulated tees, and a fifteen pack of Ice.

Home to soak and read more of 'THE THIRST' and listened to NILS LOFGREN and THE BLACK KEYS.

More 'BREAKING BAD' (Netflix).
Then the last half hour of , 'ASSIMILATE' which was a decent update of 'THE INVASION OF THE BODY SNATCHERS'.

After six beers....a documentary of... REO SPEEDWAGON.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. We 4/23/25- Gummy 645am {I took 1/4 of a 200 mg of 'DIET SMOKE' gummy: 50 mg total}. 650am (1-LB: Cookie Bread). 910am (1/2-LB: Cookie Bread).  1220pm (1-LB: Panama Punch). 535pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker). 815pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker).  Up 545am: A mix of suny & clouds with temps to about 80. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
