Up 645am: Cloudy to mid 50's.
Watched 'AMERICAN WOMAN' (Hoopla) A struggling blue collar woman is plagued by bad luck. Her sixteen year old daughter goes missing under mysterious circumstances and she must raise her grandson and flounder through a series of bad relationships with men. A truly harrowing movie; with Sienna Miller (she's terrific- her character changes and matures over an eleven year span), Christina Hendricks and Aaron Paul.
Then, 'POWDER BLUE' (Amazon Prime) Four strangers lives are intertwined in dark and murky Los Angeles a few days before Christmas. Although it boasts a star-studded casts, this is one of the dumbest films that I've seen in ages..."solipsistic, overwrought only-in-L.A. projects"; with Jessica Biel, Eddie Redmayne, Forest Whitaker, Ray Liotta, Lisa Kudrow, and Patrick Swayze and Kris Kristofferson have very tiny roles.
Wrote a rather long 'Weekly Wrap' and spent some time on the phone with Aetna... "Do I still have Silver Sneakers?" And the answer is...."YES I DO".
Late to the workout at Planet Fitness and not on the machines till almost 4pm. 45" Walk (The first two episodes of the next season of 'ATYPICAL'). 45" Recumbent Bike (Read 'THE THIRST' listened to MIRANDA LAMBERT/ THE DETROIT COBRAS). 45" Cross (OFF CAMERA- Jeff Bridges). 30" Walk ('ATYPICAL'). 30" Cross (Watched a YouTube documentary about T. REX).
Did the weekly shopping, but filled up at the station west of the store; $11 gas, $50 supplies.
Home to soak and read more 'THE THIRST' and listened to THOM YORKE and BIG BLACK.
The next episode of 'BREAKING BAD' Season 4, (Netflix). Then some YouTube videos about the punk movement in America and Britain.
