We 11/20/19- Contemporary Book Club at six

Up 635am: Cloudy early, then sunny and to mid 50's.

Listened to podcasts and interviews with author of 'WHISKEY WHEN WE'RE DRY', John Larison.

After last night's Internet slow down I was curious to see what the speed was on the living room PC. Now I'm clocking in at between 100 and 118 Mbps!... Thank you Xfinity.

Then watched, 'NOBODY'S FOOL' (Amazon Prime). An enchanting film about the life of a sixty year old loser in a small town in upstate New York; with Paul Newman, Jessica Tandy, Bruce Willis, Melanie Griffith, and Philip Seymour Hoffman- from a novel by Richard Russo.

1115am: PC is 'Off' and skimming the novel for tonight's meeting.
130pm: On the machines at FitClub West. 45" Octane (Watched the Impeachment Hearings on the phone). 45" Walk (TV rest of workout). 45" Cross. 30" Walk. 30" Old Style Cross (Talked to Kim; she used to work at the phone company building (529 S. 7th) when I was in the mail/ computer room).

Home to take a shower and on the road to the library at 520pm. The group gave it only about a 'C' on the novel, but I really loved it.

Watched 'WILD HORSES'  (Amazon Prime) A father throws his son and the boy's lover off the ranch. Fifteen years later a female Texas Ranger investigates the disappearance of a boy. A horse kicked him in the head and killed him. An odd murder mystery dealing with gay themes; with Robert Duvall, James Franco, Josh Hartnett. Written and directed by Robert Duvall.

"The great Robert Duvall stumbles badly with the awful WILD HORSES, a rambling, self-indulgent home movie with two purposes: to allow Duvall to yet again play--wait for it--an irascible, ornery old coot and to give a leading role to his much younger wife Luciana, who has a total of three acting credits..."

Then a Chris Rock concert, (Netflix)
