******* BREAKING NEWS******

SiriusXM  has forgotten to terminate my account! I just learned this yesterday when I tried to see what I could get on the radio.  I've got all of the stations that I programmed when I bought the Elantra, and I ain't telling nobody. Now I don't have to use the data on my phone to listen to music the few minutes that I'm in the car every day.

 
Up 735am: Gray skies with a few flakes mixed in with the drizzle and mist- to upper 30's.

Watched Netflix disc, 'REBEL IN THE RYE' A fairly flat presentation (yet worth a look) of the life of Jerome David Salinger. In later life he moved to Cornish, New Hampshire and that has to be one of the most remote areas of the country. 'Cornish' is not even a wide spot in the road. Kevin Spacey was riveting in the role as Salinger's mentor before he became a published author; with Nicholas Hoult (as J.D.), Kevin Spacey, Hope Davis (as a brunette), and Sarah Paulson.

I watched a few YouTube reviews of the film, and then the first episode of 'MODERN LOVE'- "When The Doorman Is Your Main Man". The series consists of thirty minute segments with different actors in different stories of modern love situations. I'll be coming back for more.

Then I watched the last two episodes of 'JACK RYAN' Season 2 (Amazon Prime).

215pm: PC is "Off" and did the weekly cleaning and then to LA Fitness and dropped the disc at the box off Monroe.

In the tub with more Vampire Stories and THE TEDESCHI TRUCKS BAND and THE THEORY OF DEAD MEN.

The next BREAKING BAD which was the last episode of Season 3- and a real cliff hanger.
Then I began 'WATCH MY DINNER WITH JIMI'- an odd biopic about The Turtles with actors wearing bad wigs impersonating musical stars. I might or might not finish this ninety minute film.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Seems to be Ben Kingsley, but he's not the killer, he's an ex-agent who can do 'remote viewing'. Not bad, but close, however excellent and creative charcoal drawings as the 'hints' to Eckhart's character. We 4/23/25- Gummy 645am {I took 1/4 of a 200 mg of 'DIET SMOKE' gummy: 50 mg total}. 650am (1-LB: Cookie Bread). 910am (1/2-LB: Cookie Bread).  1220pm (1-LB: Panama Punch). 535pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker). 815pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker).  Up 545am: A mix of suny & clouds with temps to about 80. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
