Up 745am: Bight and sunny, to mid 40's.
Watched the second Netflix disc of 'PRINCE OF THE CITY'.
I wrote up the book, PRINCE OF THE CITY, for the blog. I said that I only read half of the novel, but the movie gives the gist of the story even better than the book.
Watched, 'BOLDEN' (Amazon Prime) A better than average biopic of 'The Inventor of Jazz'... although nobody has heard of him; with Gary Carr (he starred in the episode of 'MODERN LOVE' where his lover, Anne Hathaway, was suffering from a bipolar disorder). The film was written and directed by a California billionaire, Dan Pritzker. He is related to J.B. Pritzker, the governor of Illinois. I'll watch the last half hour of this tonight.
115pm: To FitClub West.
Dropped the disc at the box near Fairway/ Monroe and on the machines by 135pm. 45" Octane (YOUTUBE- interview with Ryan Adams). 45" Walk (TV all workout). 45" Cross. 30" Walk. 30" Old Style Cross.
Home to do the Weekly Cleaning, then downstairs for forty-five minutes to read more of MICHAEL CONNELLY and listen to 'A DECADE OF SIN- A BLOODSHOT COMPILATION'. Then in the tub with more BOSCH and SONIA DADA (Dan Pitzker's band- the billionaire who wrote and directed 'BOLDEN'. Dan bought Jerry Garcia's guitar, 'Wolf', for $890,000) and BAND OF HORSES.
The next 'BREAKING BAD' (Netflix).
Then the last thirty minutes of 'BOLDEN'. I really liked this film! Wynton Marsalis's trumpet playing was absolutely enchanting and underscored the strange, hypnotic tone of the film, and everything really worked!.... Billionaires (Pritzer's) can make good things, too!
Then 'ARCTIC MONKEYS- BEHIND THE MUSIC' (YouTube), and then a 'COLD CASE' from Michigan.
