Up 720am: Partly cloudy and temps in the early 50's early and should hit the low 60's by this afternoon.

Watched, 'DEAD HEAT' A cop with a bum ticker is forced to retire and hooks up with his nefarious half-brother in a scheme to buy a suffering race horse, fix him up, and then race him to make a bundle. But, the local criminal boss wants the horse for himself; shot in Victoria, British Columbia with Kiefer Sutherland, Tony Lapaglia, and Radha Mitchell. The film probably went straight to DVD, but well worth a look.

Then, 'GOD BLESS AMERICA' (Hoopla) A sick satire of the downward spiral of American culture. Frank is the embodiment of 'I'm mad as Hell and I'm not going to take it anymore', and he teams up with an equally unhappy teenage girl, Roxy, and they go on a crusade to wipe out all the 'undesirables'. It's over-the-top and probably far too bloody, but does make a point..... "TAKING OUT THE TRASH, ONE JERK AT A TIME"; with Joel Murray (Bill Murray's brother), directed by Bobcat Goldthwait.

*****I called Peterson's office at the crack of 8am and then at noon. Still no return call and I left a text to tell Janny that I'm still on the case.

1pm: PC is 'Off' and heading to the 'Y' later.
On the machines at 145pm. 45" Walk (TV all workout). 45" Recumbent Bike. 45" Cross. 30" Walk. 30" Cross.

Home to read and finish 'TWO KINDS OF TRUTH' downstairs while listening to THE MELVINS on the sound bar. Then in the tub to begin 'SYCAMORE ROW'- John Grisham and listened to BON IVER and THE GORIES.

****I'm wondering if there is something wrong with my phone. Can I accept calls? Why hasn't anyone called, and most important, why hasn't Dr. Peterson's office called back?

****I just used the Gmail phone app and I called my phone, so it looks like it's OK on this end.

Watched the next to the last episode of Season 1 of,  'BREAKING BAD' (Netflix).
Then the first episode of a documentary series, 'NARCO WORLD-DOPE STORIES (Netflix)- Meth dealers in Phoenix North on I 17 near Indian School Road, and only several miles south of Bell Road.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Seems to be Ben Kingsley, but he's not the killer, he's an ex-agent who can do 'remote viewing'. Not bad, but close, however excellent and creative charcoal drawings as the 'hints' to Eckhart's character. We 4/23/25- Gummy 645am {I took 1/4 of a 200 mg of 'DIET SMOKE' gummy: 50 mg total}. 650am (1-LB: Cookie Bread). 910am (1/2-LB: Cookie Bread).  1220pm (1-LB: Panama Punch). 535pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker). 815pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker).  Up 545am: A mix of suny & clouds with temps to about 80. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
