Up 720am: cloudy and snow to begin later this morning, changing to a 'wintry mix' this evening, then rain, then plunging temps and barely in the teens tomorrow. This could be bad!
Wrote up 'LIGHT OF THE WORLD'- James Lee Burke for the blog.
Watched, 'GONE' (Amazon Prime). A fairly lame tale of a young woman who is recovering from a kidnapping. She was sent to an asylum, and is now living with her sister. When her sister disappears, the police don't believe her, and she tracks down the killer on her own. Set in Portland Oregon, and the only reason I watched this is that it stars Amanda Seyfried who was in 'CHLOE'. Also, Katherine Moenning has a small role, and she was excellent in 'DONOVAN'.
To Planet Fitness by 11am so I can get in the workout before 'the weather', but tomorrow might even be worse. I might not leave the house. Snow, sleet, rain, more snow and sleet then drastically falling temps and below zero temps make for a very bad forecast.
On the machines by 1130am. 45" Walk (The Last 3 Episodes of 'MESSIAH' all workout). 45" Recumbent Bike (Read 'SEVEN DAYS OF US' and AMY LAVERE). 45" Cross. 30" Walk. 30" Cross.
We didn't get the snow accumulation, and when I left the workout only about 1/4" of ice had fallen. I wasn't slick, but it was going that way. I drove directly home.
Downstairs to read more of 'SEVEN DAYS OF US' and listened to a dozen albums on the sound bar: starting with LIZ PHAIR and ending with STEVIE WONDER.
Then in the tub with more HAAG ADVENTURES and listened to 'GIMME SHELTER'- THE STONES and 'SQUEEZE'- Doug Yule of THE VELVET UNDERGROUND.
The last episode of 'AARON HERNANDEZ' (Netflix). He's a world renowned football player for the New England Patriots who also murdered three men and is a closeted gay man. Even though he probably only had the mental age of an eleven year old, I think he should be primarily responsible for his actions, but why did no one notice any of this? It should have been relatively obvious to the coaches and managers that interacted with him. But, of course, the billion dollar owners of the team say that it's all on him.
