Th 1/23/2020- First Time Kanopy!
Up 750am: About an inch of snow and ice fell last night and very light periods of snow, rain, and ice will continue all day- low 30's.
Watched 'A TOUCH OF SIN' (Kanopy- First time I used this streaming service connected to the library- Ten films a month!). The movie shows a cross section of contemporary Chinese workers and how their lives intersect with random and very violent interruptions. The film consists of several different narratives: A motorcyclist shoots three men who try to rob him in a 'hatchet holdup', a village man shoots up his local town's leaders, the motorcyclist returns to his family and then murders a couple as they leave an ATM, a receptionist at a sauna/hotel (?) is attacked by the family of her married lover and then she knifes two patrons; "I am not a prostitute!", a young man works at several different jobs, including a strange brothel (?) and then dives off the balcony of an apartment building to his death.
****I left a few comments about the film at Kanopy.
Began 'SUPER SIZE ME 2' (Hoopla)
****About 1pm I shoveled the walk and drive. Wet snow about an inch and maybe fifteen minutes of work.
****Lost Xfinity about 130pm.
Will go to Planet Fitness and hope it's back when I return.
****Just as I was going out the door the service returned. 205pm: On my way to Planet Fitness.

Home to soak and listen to DAN BAIRD and DAN SARTAIN and read more Harlan Coben.
Watched the last twelve minutes of 'PEAKY BLINDERS' , then the last half of 'SUPER SIZE ME 2' that I was watching when the Internet kicked out this afternoon.
Then two episodes of, 'FLEABAG' (Amazon Prime)
