Th 1/30/2020- COLONOSCOPY DAY
Up 5am and read 'LA REQUIEM' in bed until 550am. Last night I didn't put down the book until 1230am, and tossed and turned all night. Up three times to piss because of all the coffee.
We got a trace of snow early yesterday evening and I swept the walk and driveway from 6-620am.
Drank the 'super lax' at 630am, and drank two more sixteen ounces of 'water/7Up' by 730am. Waste is the color of black coffee, but more to come. I thought that it was supposed to be clear, but I have scrupulously followed the instructions.

8am: Watching the last part of, 'MUTUAL APPRECIATION' (Kanopy). Here's what I posted:
"This film is almost a text perfect illustration of the sub-genre of 'Mumblecore' which employs a low budget focus on people in their 20's and 30's and examines social relationships featuring non-professional actors. The aim is scruffy yet endearing over slick and highly produced, and this is the exact opposite of a mainstream Hollywood feature, so be forewarned.
Then watched the first part of a YouTube video, 'JOE ROGAN EXPERIENCE- Sturgill Simpson.
The Brandenburgs are to be here at 1045am: More after it occurs- sent 1005am.
The Brandenburgs arrived about fifteen minutes early. She had a big bag of books to drop off and I gave Joe the cardigan sweater that I got from Amazon and didn't want to send back.
RANDOM NOTES:
In the parking lot and walking in the door to the Clinic at 1050am.
Walking down the hall to prep 1105am after waiting no more than ten minutes in the lounge. Actually, I was taking a leak when they called my name.
The Anesthesiologist was a guy from FitClub, and I saw an Indian doctor that is also a regular at FitClub for many years.
1155am Propofol was administered and then awake at 1235pm.
Two small polyps, less than last time, and I learned that I have "lots of twists in my intestines".
Home by 1220pm...
Back in three years.
********After looking at some links on the Internet about what to eat after the procedure I felt that it might be a good idea to buy a dozen eggs and eat scrambled eats as the first meal after the colonoscopy. The first time I had the procedure I suffered from really bad constipation because I ate a Subway sandwich the afternoon after. Stay away from the Internet because it was basically a collection of horror stories.
I exchanged all the books that I had for Janny, they left, and then I heated a can of soup. I spent the rest of the afternoon on the couch reading 'LA REQUIEM', and at 630pm I hit the tub and listened to BITCHES BREW and finished the Robert Crais novel.
Read a lot of scary stuff on the Internet about the colonoscopy, and like nothing that they told me- For medical advice, that's bordering on dangerous.
Watched, 'COLOR ME OBSESSED' (Kanopy) in the living room. Ate two large portions of vegetables and tuna fish; thinned down with lots of water.
