Up 730am: Predicted to rain all day and expecting a little more than a half inch- mid 40's.

Watched 'AMERICAN ASSASSIN' (Netflix). A young man proposes marriage, and then, in an instant,  his girlfriend and dozens of others are brutally gunned down in a terrorist shooting on the beach at their resort. This turns the guy into a crazed anti-terrorist and he is schooled by Michael Keaton who is equally nuts, but maybe more adept. A watchable 'action/ adventure', but recycles the phony hypothesis that 'ya can beat the truth' out of anyone.

Then, watched 'STOP-LOSS' (Amazon Prime). The title refers to an unethical method of extending tours to war zones 'at the discretion of the president'.  Produced by MTV and chock full of 'young talent'; with Ryan Phillippe, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Channing Tatum, Abbie Cornish, and Timothy Olyphant.

Then two episodes of 'GOOD MYTHICAL MORNING' (YouTube) Two guys compare grilled cheese sandwiches and then they compared famous hot dogs; 15" an episode.

215pm: To Planet Fitness and on the machines by quarter to 3.

***Quite ripped and when I got on the treadmill I got off after 15". Listened to AFGHAN WHIGS and was afraid that I'd faint, but I think it was just the high and it never got above 'just a curious feeling'. Switched to 45" on the recumbent bike to watch JONESY'S JUKEBOX with a couple of guys who were close to the recording career of Jimi Hendrix. 45" Cross (The last episode of 'THE STRANGER'). 30" Walk (WHO KILLED MALCOLM X?). 30" Cross (MALCOLM).

Watched the next 'I AM A KILLER' (Netflix). A Missouri guy puts two bullets into the heads of two guys who are in the trunk of the car that he's driving.  He's sorry, but.....
Then a JONESY'S JUKEBOX- Steve Vai.
And then the next,  'FOREVER' (Amazon Prime)

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Seems to be Ben Kingsley, but he's not the killer, he's an ex-agent who can do 'remote viewing'. Not bad, but close, however excellent and creative charcoal drawings as the 'hints' to Eckhart's character. We 4/23/25- Gummy 645am {I took 1/4 of a 200 mg of 'DIET SMOKE' gummy: 50 mg total}. 650am (1-LB: Cookie Bread). 910am (1/2-LB: Cookie Bread).  1220pm (1-LB: Panama Punch). 535pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker). 815pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker).  Up 545am: A mix of suny & clouds with temps to about 80. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}. We exchanged books & Joe recommended an 'oiler' that fits under the belt of a treadmill. Melissa is now '2nd in command' at the Illinois Parole Board...
