Mo 2/24/2020- Mike Berg Repairs Furnace
Up 7am: Used the alarm on my phone. 40's and rain beginning late this morning and to continue for the next day or so. A chance for snow Tuesday evening, but no accumulation.
Berg and an assistant arrived just after 8am. I was writing an email to Janny. The motor had seized up on the furnace and they left to pick up a new one downtown. He heard that the bearings that were used might have been defective so they only last up to five years. Not positive news. We're up to around $400-$500...and counting.
The entire process took less than an hour including the trip downtown to pick up a new motor. $485 and I wrote a check on the Ameriprise account. The guy didn't give me a receipt (he said he didn't have them with him?), but the check will act as proof of payment. I'll make a copy of what he did and include the check copy and tape it to the furnace (for future reference).
Watched, 'HONEY BOY'(Amazon Prime). Shia LaBeouf wrote and directed a cinematic memoir about his abusive upbringing. He plays his own father and two other actors portray the young Shia. It's no wonder that this guy had PTSD after being raised by a crazed ex-rodeo clown. An interesting and quirky melodrama.
Then I watched the first two episodes of, 'HOMICIDE SQUAD- ATLANTA' (Amazon Prime). It appeared that I had watched episode I, but I had no recollection. Better done than the usual stuff on TV.
1pm: PC is 'Off' and plan to hit Planet Fitness before 2pm.
On the machines at 2pm. 45" Walk (JONESY'S JUKEBOX- Smalls from Spinal Tap- trouble with the headset...."Goodbye...". 45" Recumbent Bike (JONESY'S). 45" Cross (JONESY'S JUKEBOX- Taylor Hawkins). 30" Walk (Left ankle is still an issue, so I cut the incline to 8.0; Taylor Hawkins from FOO FIGHTERS). 45" Cross (Listened to ELVIS).
Home to drink a cup downstairs and read more HARRY BOSCH; listened to ALL THIS USELESS BEAUTY and MIGHTY LIKE A ROSE. Then in the tub with more HARRY BOSCH and SPIKE and LIVE ATTRACTIONS.
Then the next episode of 'HOMICIDE SQUAD ATLANTA' (Amazon Prime). And then another episode of 'FOREVER' ; and the 'discussion afterwards'.
