Mo 2/3/20- I'm Seventy-One!

Up 7am: Partly sunny and temps to break 60!

I wrote up 'SAY WHEN' for the blog.

Watched, 'ADOPT A HIGHWAY' (Hoopla). Just released from a California prison for serving 21 years for an ounce of pot, a man finds a baby abandoned in the dumpster behind the restaurant where he is employed as a dishwasher. He keeps the baby for a day or two, turns it in, then leaves the state to travel to his family home in Casper, Wyoming. His father has passed away and he learns that he has inherited a valuable stamp collection and he places some of the money in a trust for Ella, the baby that he found. He spends the rest of inheritance to travel. A small film, but a very affecting performance by Ethan Hawke.

Then, watched 'FLASHBACKS OF A FOOL' (Amazon Prime). Not a bad film, but certainly not very good. It's about death, missed opportunities and wrong decisions.  A washed up Hollywood film star learns of a close friends death and he heads back to coastal England for the funeral. The film goes into flashback about the summer when they were friends and he was seduced by one of his mother's friends and lost the love of his life. And, a four year old is killed when a mine explodes and what happens after he runs away from home before the young girl's funeral is left to the imagination. That might have made a better movie; with Daniel Craig, Felicity Jones first film role.

110pm: Weeding the flowers in the back flower bed, then to Planet Fitness. Spent about twenty minutes fooling around and got some of it cleared. Will hold till 'the boys' do the Spring Cleanup.

On the machines at Planet Fitness at 2pm. 45" Walk (Part of a bio of SANTANA, then it skipped to a very good bio of '60's IRISH ROCK'- Van Morrison, Protestant from Belfast and RORY GALLAGHER, a Catholic from Dublin....And, THIN LIZZY too). 45" Recumbent Bike (Read 'THE ESCAPE' and listened to THIN LIZZY and THIN WHITE ROPE). 45" Cross (PEAKY BLINDERS). 30" Walk (PEAKY BLINDERS). 30" Cross (PEAKY BLINDERS).

Home to read more Balducci downstairs and listen to THUNDERCAT for an hour. Then in the tub with more 'THE ESCAPE' and THREE EYED BLIND and FU MANCHU).

Watched the rest of the PEAKY BLINDERS that I began at Planet Fitness. And then I watched a funny episode of Jack Black on JONESY'S JUKEBOX. Very funny..."Takin' a Deuce".
And then watched another JONESY'S JUKEBOX where he interviews PAUL COOK.

*******I ordered Steve Jones's book. 'LONELY BOY' from Amazon: Seven Bucks for a birthday gift.

Then some of a new season of, 'BOJACK HORSEMAN', and then I reviewed the, 'I AM A KILLER' (Netflix) that I began last night.
